I counted at least 1k for sale on Ticketmaster, Craigslist, and StubHub...plus they said that they still were selling some tickets at the speedway. By Saturday I look for them to fall to about 50 a ticket. Probably a good opportunity for upper ET fans that have never gotten to see a game.

Most everyones best opportunity to "see" this game will be from their lazy boy... not much seeing will be going on from 85% of the seats at BMS. Will be a great party tho.

I hope you are right. The ticket prices have been outrageous. I have been looking for months. Everyone bought all the tickets with no intentions of going to the game. Ruins it for all of the fans that want to go and enjoy the game. Everyone has to make an extra buck.

i call on Bristol for work. ive seen enough think ill hug on my two little girls, worth all the gold in fort knox.

oh. ill be watching the game as well. But, there will have to be princesses involved.

fyi, the wife and I took the fam to Pinnacle to see the fish at BPS two weeks ago. we somehow went downtown. no way that place could handle race traffic let alone this game.

www.theeastmanclassifieds has penty of tickets for sale right now it is a local trading post. I also heard on the radio they have things going on starting on Thursday & Friday night in Bristol that should be fun. They mentioned a pep ralley, brewery, live bands.

If they bought with no intentions of going, then clearly it is/will be a buyers market.

They didn't just buy them to burn them.

UT's performance in the opener has helped bring prices down. With 160,000 capacity, there's bound to be plenty of tickets come Saturday.

Bruton Smith. Owns SMI which incorporates Charlotte and Texas Motor Speedways. Yes he will do whatever it takes.

There wouldn't be a blackout would there? Surely if they sold 148k out of 150k it wouldn't be an issue.

Lol you can't be serious

Hey you never know what craziness the networks and the NCAA will throw at you...it looks like this one will be on ABC so it won't be available on the ESPN app locally

NCAA Football Blackouts
If you subscribe to the ESPN Game Plan package, the following blackout rules apply:

ABC Regional Games
These are games your local ABC affiliate has the right to air. If a specific game airs on your local ABC channel, then the game is blacked out on the ESPN Game Plan schedule.

Regionally Syndicated Games
These are games that are aired on local or regional sports channels. If these games air locally or regionally, they are blacked out on the ESPN Game Plan schedule.

NOTE: Sports blackout rules change from time to time. As a general rule, if a game is blacked out in your area, always check your Interactive Media Guide to see if the game is airing on another FiOS TV channel.

Wrong about the traffic . Been handling for decades. BTPD said it'll take about 4 hours to clear out because a lot of the visitors will be unfamiliar with the routing. Most race fans can do it blind folded. Also traffic doesn't go down state street unless it's a local headed home.
