I got my UGA. Thanks for the thread. I'm bringing my family so I am not getting on the interstate without tickets already in hand!

And since that's the Terrace side, upper deck folks are gonna have to deal with it (unless you get QQ I guess).

When you see the price and location on the street, you will be kicking yourself. I would not sit in those upper south endzone seats if they were free.

Either you're loaded or you're crazy. I'd sit anywhere in Neyland for free.

The seats are just fine. I'm sure you can get better seats on the street, but when you're driving several hours and bringing the family, there's something about having the tickets in hand.

This is what I plan on doing (which is what I do every year). Anybody had any luck getting 4 tickets together on the street? I've only purchased 2 up to this point but I'm taking a bigger group to Cincinnati game.

You know what's worse? Driving 4 family members 6 hours to Knoxville and then going out in front trying to haggle over finding 5 seats that sit together before game time.

I will gladly pay the extra $$ to have piece of mind and not have to worry about it on game day.

You can scalp and pay cheaper. Especially for Montana, Cincy, Buffalo and Vandy games.

Totally agree. If it's only me and one or two others I'd feel really confident in finding em there. I'm just glad to be in Neyland, the price and guaranteed tickets are good enough for me. Jmho.

this +1. I have a 4 hour drive and would rather not have to haggle (taking the wife, kids and uncle to the Georgia game) and be able to enjoy the day instead of searching for "5 together". Now if its just me and one of my buddies.... I've driven up on a whim many times and bought tickets from "the guy in the green jacket" in front of the bookstore.

I've sat in the upperdeck twice in 20 years and once was an o&w game. I'll probably never do it again. It feels disconnected from the experience and its not nearly as loud.

I sat in the upper deck three times last year, and it was definitely rockin' against Oregon. I can see what you mean by feeling a bit disconnected in the UTM and Kentucky games, but the sightlines were fine, and it was a lot cheaper.

Agreed. If it is just me and the dudes then I don't care. I will go with the scalper but when I'm taking wife and fam I don't want to screw with it. I'd rather enjoy my tailgate.
