Got mine this morning for the Vandy game. Seems to be the only weekend I will have a chance to get up that way. Who knows, if I'm lucky then maybe I can sit by Kimbrow's family and learn about how special their son is

Got mine this morning for LSU (section GG). Also picked up Vandy tickets on StubHub, which still had lowers (Z15) for less than $70. Already had Montana tickets.

My second straight year of three regular season home games (I'd had three in my life prior to last year). woo! :loco::loco::loco:

The seats kinda look like they suck.. I like paying more and getting the sideline :-/

What is the corner like? GG and QQ for example

I've never really sat anywhere in Neyland with poor sightlines (and I mostly sit in the cheap seats, because I'm a broke grad student and I don't get in for games very often).

But I sat in GG last year against Martin and thought the seats were fine, once the sun was down. While it was setting, it was very much in your eyes. Imagine you can avoid that in QQ. But I'm back in GG for the LSU game this year. Looked on StubHub, and the price of moving to the lower level was not in my range.

I think if you sat up there, you'd be very surprised. IMO the only "bad" seats are down very low in the end zones.

I agree or the last row of the lower level, If I have to watch plays on the little tubes, I might as well stay home. Many of the tickets in the upper section I saw this morning were on rows 6 or less. I bought two pairs for two games that are like that.

The seats they are putting online are garbage seats, You will get much better seats on the street for a much lower cost.

Hey could someone explain to me whats the deal with the promotional code? I just graduated from UT and have always bought student tickets. So I've never had to deal with the craziness of trying to get regular tickets.

This...

I need 4 for LSU... The best I could get were in OO row 13... $300!!

No way, Jose... I can easily find four together in the upper deck for less than that on the street, and PROBABLY find lowers for that.

I'd rather pay $400 for 4 lowers than $300 for 4 uppers...

I know they are "hiding" tickets on uttix... you're telling me there isn't ONE single lower available for either the Cincinnati or LSU game? I checked at 8:30 sharp...

They are holding back seats on the lower level in the vain hope to sell as season tickets, these tickets at some point will be available, but the street price will be lower.

I have had season tickets in the upper level for 5 years now....and had anywhere from row 12 or lower... Now I am on 4 in the South Endzone.... and I will tell you all this.... I have been a student and sat on the first ten rows...upper corners... have sat on the 45, 50 rows back, and there is absolutly no better vantage point then having an upper level corner seats in the endzones.. and FYI... to put it in perspective... Neyland's upper level top row... is about the same as the height off the field as the 5th row in either the GA Dome in ATL or LP Field in Nashville... SERIOUSLY.... I have been to both those venues over 5 times each... and the upper level there is like a distant land, and it's miles above the field... Neyland's upper level is really a good seat!

if someone cant get good lowers for non sec games off the street for 30$ you need to go back to the school of hard knocks. SEC games can be had for 70$ easy. we're talking sub 500 tennessee not 1998 tenn.

Could someone explain why tickets on the UT website are only available through a promotional code? Instead of available to the general public?

Because they don't go on sale to the general public until Monday, and the promotional code is for people for have bought UT tickets before and get the promotional emails.

This may be true, but if I'm driving five hours to the game, I feel a lot better with tickets in hand (especially for games like LSU).

you just have to subscribe to their ticket emails.. any time you buy tickets on-line they ask you for an email address and ask if you'd like to subscribe to the promo emails.... and then your in... so it's kind of like a reward for being a past customer...
