I live in VA and this is all over the news. What a senseless, tragic crime. The shooter was apparently from Varina, not far from me. Prayers to UVA students, players, coaches, and community as they struggle to move forward in light of this horrible crime

SAme here. But, unless the hazing occured more recently for some other thing, the shooter was only on the UVA football team for 1 year in 2018 or 2019 and never played. That's a long time to carry a grudge.
