I bet he gets consideration if they beat GaTech at home.

Ga Tech = one of the most overrated programs in the country. Despite what people say, they have mediocre talent. I can't believe how big of a deal it was when ND barely beat them. It was disguisting.

I agree, I was just saying, if he wins his first game as a starter then he will automatically be in the Heisman race.

...if the hype continues.

If I recall correctly, didn't Corso say in the opening gameday that Cal would blow away Tennessee and go on and win the national title.

Not sure if he said they would blow away Tennessee, but he did say Cal would win and go on to win the National Title.

As for Herbstreit, he said Miami would win the National Title.

Kind of sucks when both of their picks get beat in week 1. :birgits_giggle:

It shows how much predictions are worth early in the season.

Agreed, but I think they supposed to pick teams that aren't heavily favored to win it all.

Except when it comes to Lou Holtz, he just picks Notre Dame and South Carolina no matter what.

Lord only knows what would happen if South Carolina played Notre Dame. His head might expload on location.

Yeah Ole Lou never fails to pick against Carolina and Notre Dame that makes me so mad, it doesn't matter who they play he always talks about how they are going to win.

Corso not only picked Cal to win the national championship before their first game, he stuck with that pick after their first game.

The irony in this post is mind blowing..

You spell it "stereotype" I know.

And, I accidentally put "to" instead of took.

What does that have to do with being a redneck/hick?

I really don't try to spell or correct my grammar on message boards. :eek:k:

Well, I figured it must be a joke because of the link to the Corso commercial making fun of Tennessee fans. :)
