I'll start. Minding my own business, listening to an UGA fan discuss the game with another coworker:

  1. Refs cost them the game. We should have never had a chance to be in it at the end b/c the refs gave Dobbs a TD that wasn't a touchdown (the ball never crossed the pylon).
  2. Wait 'til next week. All his hopes and dreams are tied up in TAM ending our hopes and dreams.
  3. Just wait 'til next year when their savior freshmans (QB1 and TE) torch us and put us back in our place.
  4. (Except for all the complaining) Not going to complain b/c they got the most exciting game ever out of the deal. They knew they were rebuilding and pushing us to the final seconds was kinda, sorta like a victory.

They sound like UT fans the last 11 years after losing to UF.

Sit back and enjoy it.

As the butthurt floweth thru him, savor every second. Bask wholeheartedly with each and every complaint and excuse that leaves his mutt mouth. One team winning over both top divisional rivals is bliss and all those rivals excuses as to why they should not have lost is pure orgasmic!

After last weeks trash talking buy the UGA fans I know, the only response I got this morning was, "It was a good game".

Haven't said a word lol. I don't need to. I would say that I'm trying to be a gracious winner, but that's a misnomer. I didn't do anything to win this game. All I did was dress in orange and scream/cry/shout excitedly at my TV. But I sure am proud of our Vols, who did win it in the most exciting way I can imagine.

The worst part of Atlanta is the sports talk radio. And let me tell you this week I'm going to wallow in their butt hurt.

It doesn't matter which show it is, two things are always constant. 1. They talk through their nose and 2. They look down their nose at UT when they have to discuss them.

The Rude awakening, which is nasal articulation at its finest, was gold this morning. "Well well well they've got to go to college station next week where they will get exposed so let's pump the brakes on this whole 5-0 since 98 talk" yada yada yada, and "This is another Richt loss due to poor recruiting"

Haven't they been top 12 or better the last 4 years with an actual player star rating that's better than ours right now?

They are absolutely the worst winners and losers of any team in the SEC

What are you talking about? The annual game with Georgia is indeed a rival game.

Maybe you're confusing this game with the yearly contests against Kentucky, Vandy, or South Carolina?

Yeah that comment confused me too.

If anything it would be reversed, since we're definitely not their biggest rival.

Not recently, no. But Tennessee and Georgia are the second and third most winning programs in the sec. And the game has historically had big implications for the race in the east. Add to that the amount of talent we pull from their backyard.

I don't see how anyone can't view Georgia as a huge annual rival. I've always got the game circled on my calendar.

The hobnail boot broadcast. Still crowing about it 15 years later. Cheering Kublanow's cheap shot on Tuttle. Putting Kublanow on the UT game ticket as a reminder. Trotting Kublanow to Media Days as the embodiment of "The Georgia Way." And then when UT beats them, former players (looking at you, Keith Marshall) tweet "I hate Tennessee."

UGA has cornered the market on classless. It's the cornerstone of their program.

I think it is a fundamental tenet of college football that the team you just lost to has "the most obnoxious, disrespectful fans in the country."

UGA fan two cubes over still going on about it to fifth person that walked by their desk. It's now been over three hours and five people hearing about the 'phantom touchdown', and their stud freshmen.

We have a huge monitor that displays technical stats and systems in real time. I've emailed the manager over that team to see if he will put the "Angel Wings, Hallelujah Jenkins catch" video on a loop up on that monitor until forced to take it down. We'll see.

Probably depends on you age. We didn't play UGA a lot before the divisions were created. When we did start divisional play, we owned them for a decade. They definitely took some back once Richt arrived although they've never managed to put a run on us like UF or Bama.
