So after a few hours of sleep I think I'm ready to talk about it, I'm very proud of the guys they played extremely hard but I'm really disappointed in Heupel, he made some really bad coaching decisions which has kind of become the normal... here's my thoughts not that they mean much but we really needed this game...we are a good football team but the rest of our schedule is tough, Bama, Florida, Miss state on the road, OU, Ark at home.... I believe we end the year 8-4....9-3 at best...had we beat UGA like we should have we would've had a shot at another playoff run, just my thoughts... I'm disappointed but also proud of how our program has totally changed under heup just wish he'd stop coaching scared in crucial moments of the game🍊🍊🍊

Here's my thoughts. We need to clean up the penalties. Ga never had a flag throwed on then the whole second half. Think about that. Were they that perfect? We got a top 10 football team that if they are coached up can be in the playoff. The D- Line the whole game looked like they didn't know where to be looking at the sideline with their hands up asking where they need to be. That's on the STAFF. Get it fixed.

Despite all of the defensive issues, we had them beat and let them off the hook. Imagine how different we would view the 22 Bama game if our kicker had missed and we lose in OT like we did UGA. If he makes that kick yesterday, the knee-jerk crowd would be top of the world and wanting to hand out lifetime contracts.

My biggest issue is how we handled the series after the strip sack. We should have taken an immediate shot downfield like the ole ball coach used to do after a sudden change.

Hindsight is always 2020 but I know we could have popped them for a pass closer to our redzone because Georgia was selling out to stop the run at the end. Oh well, better than waking up to a 52-14 loss like in the past.

Agree on last post. I blame the incompetence of our school from 2008 on that put Heupel in a tough rebuild. Our rivals have had their best runs in history while we struggled to beat Vandy and make bowl games for over 15 years.

My thoughts

We’re a legitimate football team, Georgia is the standard and we went toe to toe with them and should have beaten them. Heupel made some questionable decisions, sure but I’ll say that for most of the game, the man played to win. He knew what that game meant.

Got to execute when it matters and the defense is missing some dudes. You seen it late in the game. I knew when it went to OT what was about to happen.

I will not blame the refs we got some calls and there were a couple of bad calls against us but don’t feel they impacted the game.

Bottom line, 8-4 or 9-3 is probably it this year and that’s okay. There was a 15-20 year span where we would have killed to be where we are right now as a football program. This game don’t make or break the season, there’s a lot of football left to be played.

Would have liked another long try to Brazzell - he was very good on those yesterday

That was a waisted performance that the coaches blew plain and simple. You got to win games against good teams that you had won jeez tired of the excuses every year you had their ass beat
