Thoughts on UF vs Tennessee

I predict I'll be channel surfing by the end of the game. I'll be in West Tennessee that day, so I can't go, but I'm expecting ugliness from both sides and UF pulling away late. It will probably resemble the USF-UF game except worse. That is what I'm expecting...

However, this is a rivalry game. We were totally outmatched by Alabama last year and almost beat them. Anything could happen. The Gators have a massive talent advantage, but they are on the road, inexperienced and prone to mistakes. If we get ahead by two TDs or more then things could get interesting with the crowd we'll have. You are no Oregon at this point. This second scenario is what I'd love to see happen.

I don't want the 2nd scenario to happen. I paid 250 to sit in the UF section Saturday...... we'd better not get beat.

Should we? What reason should we have to be confident in our team against UF when we haven't won since 2004 and even lost when we had a talent advantage a few years in the 90s? Most UT fans, who aren't drunk, expect a loss to Florida every year. I do not see that trend reversing any time soon.

You manhandled the #7 team in the nation for 1 half. Just get that effort to 2 halves and you might beat us...

nice effort and game first half and then our lack of depth and experience bring us up on short end again. Not sure Florida can beat us as bad as last night but 21-24 point loss would not be surprising..

I think this one is closer than the Volnation experts think. I don't know if we can maintain the intensity for 2 halves or not, but Florida will not bring the same tempo Oregon did offensively, nor do they have the same firepower. I do think Demps busts one on us, and Florida wins a close one, 21-17.

The coaches will show episode of swamp people to the team. It will teach them how to treat a gator feed it bad meat - shoot it in the head. Big Orange 24 Fla. 21 GBO!!!

I highlu doubt you can get any of your athletic coaches' phone numbers, get inside the locker rooms, or get championship rings. You're at Tennessee, so that's not going to happen very much.:post-4-1090547912:

we have it together more than the gators. uf has not a clue what to do without timmy. it was too easy for them for too long. UT wins 21-10

How can anyone pick UT to get blown out?!! I woke this morning up feeling better about UT Football since 2001.

This is a team we can be proud of... Our offense will improve every game (remember what we looked like last year at this time!? And our defense will learn from mistakes playing the best offense in the country.
