The D for both teams will score more than the O.

Anybody have predictions, thoughts, etc.? Realistic ones, please.

Yes. Urban Meyer has a heart attack and retires. Only to come back after promising his family that "Daddy is coming home." Wha.......you meant the game?

Close game throughout 3 quarters. Oregon is better than Florida. Florida pulls away in 4th quarter due to depth.
Florida wins 20-13.

Same script as Oregon. Close and ugly early. Florida breaks a big play or two in the 2nd half and nothing left in the tank for us in the 4th quarter. We lose something like 30-13.

if we dont think about the oregon game, show up to the florida game, and bring in over 100,000 fans, the score will be close bbut they have so much speed on their team and we have a major lack of depth. they will watch oregons d and how they stopped poole, and with smarter coaches florida will stop the run earlier unless we call different play types like reverses, pitches, and at least pass it to the middle of the field for once. Simms needs to relax this is how crompton started and maybe Simms will improve drastically just like Crompton did. go vols

by the way does anyone have a guess of mow many vol fans will be there saturday? hopefully a lot. this game is far more important than oregon

I'm much more confident against the Gators than I was the Ducks. We can hang with them, just need to catch a break or two.

no idea. i pick florida's coaches to look how oregon stopped the run and they will do it in the beginning. then we are screwed

ESPN will not pick us to win the game.

Kickoff will be shortly after 3:30pm on Saturday.

Stopping our O isn't rocket science. Stack the box, blitz from the outside, force Simms to win it for us.

UF rolls big, 30-10

Thanks for being honest, everybody. I'm thinking a replica of the '08 game. You all have 2 QBs and the fans like 1, but the Coaches like another. (Ex: Crompton and Stephens). Close game for maybe a half, then we break away. Gators 30 UT 6.

Well the plus side for us is that fla isn't as confident as they have been in the past 5 years! They lost some pretty good defensive players and without tebow haven't really been the fla that we all remember. This will be fla's first real game and our second. Hopefully with what happened yesterday prepares us and gives us the know-how to fix said problems.

One thing that we can't lose is momentum, if we get it early we have to capitolize on it. Our players aren't experienced enough to shake it off yet, we have to believe in simms and more than that he needs to believe in himself more than anyone!!! we win by 3 because lincoln is actually looking good this year!!!!

Ummm, sir, vs UT-Martin he barely got a 35 yd FG above the crossbar.

The score won't be as bad as the Oregon game, but UT will still get rolled. 31-13 sounds about right.

I have no idea why you people think this Tennessee team is capable of scoring as much as I've seen predicted. As long as Simms is the QB, there will be no palatable passing offense against SEC defenses. And as long as that's the case, the running game will be shut down with 8-9 in the box.

It's going to be a long year with Mr. Simms under center...but all of you should've known this...

I'm still trying to figure out why Dooley will not play Tyler Bray after a 35 point loss to the Ducks.

Because he knows better than to start another Crompton/Stephens debacle. He needs to stick with Simms, give him more experience, and he will figure it out.

Ummm, sir, he is in fact 100% thus far on FG and PAT's and looked good last night, including nailing a 48 yarder with room to spare.

I'll admit, I give him credit for staying at Tennessee even with all the struggles. He was nailed with derogatory comments after the Alabama game.
