Thoughts on the game from a Gator (merged)

What are you studing for? Your divers license?

Your comment you were one interception .... is woulda coulda shoulda.

You live in Memphis and you think FL is a Cesspool, I hope your studying some geography. Good Luck this year!

The more you win the more it helps us in the BCS.

I'm sure you meant driver's license, but I also already have my scuba diver's license, as well. I hope you're studying some English, and not at Florida. Hey, I know a plastic surgeon up here that occasionally does pro bono work. I really think he could help you out. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Wow 30 years of football and you've got all the insight of a 10 year old with Down's Syndrome. Everyone, you've seen it here. This is your brain on UF sports. Somebody should make a commercial to warn children. HAHAHAHA. :birgits_giggle:

It's a simple question.

Did your athletic department return half of your ticket allotment, or did your fans sell their tickets on StubHub???

Just curious???/:neener2:

Were you born without male genitalia or did you lose it in a freak accident?

What a fool. Just stop, seriously you're just twisting and sinking deeper in that hole you made.

Everyone hates each others team, but I have met and talked with some respectable gator fans that includes this site. However, you've sent em back 5 years with ur retarded ravings (sorry retarded people i will start referring to mentally challenged people as Onecoguy)

So go strap on your helmet before you fall down again or run into a wall, or meander into traffic. Scratch that, you can ditch ur "special" helmet for that last one. Cheers

Says the guy that came over here to complain about UT attendance and a football player getting his facemask touched.

Just curious, but still no answer.

Where were your fans??? I was shocked by the poor attendence of Vol Fan, especially since they have historically represented well in The Swamp. A record was set for attendance Saturday, so Gator fan ended up with your tickets.

Troy out represented one of the premier institutions in the SEC. That's pretty poor!:banghead2:

I'd say the majority of us woke up yesterday morning, took a shower, and decided we weren't in the mood for a piss shower later that afternoon. Now go back to whatever Gator site will support your notion that yesterday was a blowout.

4,000 Vol fans sold their tickets to Gators or your althetic department returned the tickets. What's up with that.

How about a comment on your poor attendeance. Troy had almost as many fans AND a bigger band at The Swamp 2 weeks ago.

Troy had yet to learn about the lack of class your jorty fanbase displays.

2. Because Florida is dominating on defense and Tennessee has no quarterback, UF called a conservative game. There were no throws downfield, although some were called, no trick plays or reverses, and a ton of Tebow. They played in safe mode much like last year’s win.

8. This 10 point loss will likely go down as Lane Kiffin’s greatest coaching victory.

Congrats to the Vol Nation on your empowering 10 point loss. Perhaps soon you can celebrate a meaningful 3 point loss. Best of luck during the rest of the season and be sure to tune in to the BCS title game to see the Gators represent the SEC in Pasadena.[/QUOTE]

Do you not see why this makes it clear you do not understand what happened in the swamp?

Lane Kiffin clearly had many of his best players as true freshman. Montori Hughes who stripped Tebow for the fumble is a true freshman, and Janzen Jackson who knocked your senior WR into next week and saved the TD is a freshman as well.

Lane Kiffin has many more and better players coming in, and with equal talent, he will beat Meyer over and over.

Meyer is losing a once in a generation QB who made his offense work.

Enjoy your day in the sun, and get ready for the time coming soon when the gator gets shot through the head with a musket ball.

Hate to break the news to you, Two Cents, but that Florida team isn't going to make it to the BCS title game. That team can't beat Alabama. No WR's whatsoever, questionable OL. Bammar takes that team by 10 points.

1. It was clear that it was kiffin’s strategy to win, and he almost did.

2. Because florida was dominated on defense there were no throws downfield.

3. Eric berry is a hell of a football player and laid the wood to teblow despite being 40 pounds lighter.

4. It was never close to being the blowout predicted by the experts and so desperately desired by the Gators.

5. It was cum vs the kiffins and without cums edge at qb he would have been sent crying.

6. Tennessee lost by only 10.

7. Teblow carried the team and if not for him it would have been a vol win.

8. This 10 point loss will put the rest of the sec on notice.

9. According to ap this game was a "huge disappointment" to the Gators and their nation.

10. Mr. Two butts has an apt screen name. How to tell one end from the other? They look the same. They sound the same. They smell the same. And the same substance emanates from both.

1. It was clear that it was Kiffin’s strategy not to win, but rather to keep from being blown out. This was obvious in the 3rd quarter when with 8 minutes left and down 10 points, they were content running for short gains and burning clock.

2. Because Florida is dominating on defense and Tennessee has no quarterback, UF called a conservative game. There were no throws downfield, although some were called, no trick plays or reverses, and a ton of Tebow. They played in safe mode much like last year’s win.

3. Eric Berry is a hell of a football player.

4. It was almost a blowout. If not for Tebow's fumble at the four, Florida likely would have gone up 30-6, the same score it won by last year.

5. It was much more of an Urban vs Monte game than Urban vs Lane.

6. Tennessee lost by “only 10” but the game stats clearly show a UF domination as the Gators had a sizeable edge in every single statistical category across the board- particularly 208 yards rushing and a 4.7 per carry average.

7. Tim Tebow had one of his worst games and was still the most dominating player on the field.

8. This 10 point loss will likely go down as Lane Kiffin’s greatest coaching victory.

Congrats to the Vol Nation on your empowering 10 point loss. Perhaps soon you can celebrate a meaningful 3 point loss. Best of luck during the rest of the season and be sure to tune in to the BCS title game to see the Gators represent the SEC in Pasadena.

The fact that you have to make a list of things to make you feel better about a win says everything about how worried Gator Nation is concering the Lane era.

Note to Mr. "30 years of football wisdom makes me a genius": Stop hiding behind your shame. We outplayed you and you got lucky to win. Period. End of discussion.

In my 30 years as a Gator season ticket holder I've never seen so few Vol fans show up for a game with the Gators.

According to Gator sources 8,500 tickets were distributed to UT, but my best guess is less than half those seats ended up with Vol fans in them.

It was obvious to every Gator fan in attendance that at least half the Vol fans sold their tickets to Gators. Pretty poor representation, especially compared to prior years, UNLESS Vol fan expected the same beat down all the so called pundits expected.

Lastly, Don't kid yourself from the CBS coverage, the Vols never were in this game from the opening kickoff's display of poor sportsmanship (as obvious an attempt to injur a player as I've seen in 30 years of college football) to the "victory formation" at the end of the game, the winner was never in doubt.

Good luck the rest of the season, your defense is the second best in the conference and it will take you to a bowl game. Your offense is lame, (read: poorly coached), but you'll be in every game as long as Monte is calling the shots on defense. I can't believe Lame couldn't get an experienced SEC quarterback to be at least a marginally effective passer with a year to prepare. Compton has clearly digressed from last year.

30 years and you still have no grasp on game situations...beautiful. Gators were never in control and dominent as you want to project. No one went out to purposely injure any player on the field you wind bag. As much as the Gators are coming on here with their woulda, coulda, shoulda and the if, if, if cry baby attempts to puff out their chests is comical. The Vols have now given the rest of the country the formula to shut Meyer down. The Gators will not be playing for a NC this year take it to the bank. I am sure the Wildcats have already watched the tape of the game yesterday numerous times so you should worry about the Cats and get out of here.

I'm very happy actually. Gators take the series lead from the Vols. 5ht win in a row against the Vols. 2 National Championships in 3 years wiht a chance at 3 of 4...What's not to be happy about?

The only way you go to the NCG this year is with a little help besides the all adoring media. Gator fans should be on their knees thanking God for the Washington Huskies. 1 down. Now if only somebody beats Texas.... It's moot anyway, because you are gonna lose in Baton Rouge and if Richt gets his head out of his ass you might lose the cocktail party this year. Your weakness has been exposed.... by a first year not-good-enough-for-the-NFL (only 34 year old) coach.

Crocodile tears anyone?

But we need some team from the SEC to go undefeated and win another NC. So as much as it breaks my heart I hope the gators take it all. Better them then Texas or a soft Big Ten team. GO VOLS Go SEC

You call the Big Ten soft in the same paragraph ou talk about the gators? They have the weakest schedule in the SEC (for a ranked team) I'll pull for ANYBODY.. Taliban included ver urby and the lizards.

UF will beat Bama. Book it.

Just like UF will blow out Tennessee, right?? Go away, no one cares you're here or what you have to say. Your almighty Gators are so overrated, and very beatable. BAMA and LSU will give u fits. 2 losses for your gators.... "BOOK IT"

Wahhhhh, Wahhhhh Wahhhhh.

Dude (assuming that's what you are) you are on a Vols message board??? I mean seriously, get a life. Actually you can go ahead and end yours, you won't be missed. The MIGHTY Gators were shown how "unmighty" they really are. Your D line was punched in the freaking mouth by a weak, injured Vol O line.

Not only that.. but the gators aren't automatically in the SECCG with their FIRST SEC win this year.. they have a few more to play... Who's to say the VOLS won't be in ATL this year?

champships is what is is about, not streaks, you are just worried that is all, about how your mighty gators really looked againist a good apponent, and not a great one. BCS I dont think so, maybe if Spikes comes out and has his speech then Gator nation could hang it up next to Tebows
