Thoughts on the Florida game

49-35. UF. Saying Cal if faster than UF is just the remnants of a Melrose Hall acid flashback.

Caldwell, Harvin, Cooper, Fayson, Murphy, and Rainey all run sub 4.4's. The rumor is that Cooper is the fastest of the bunch but Calwell and Harvin look faster and get all of the press. Not to mention the fact that Tebow can keep the rock and cuts like a good RB. The choices are ridiculous.

We'll be backed up all game long. The choices are turn overs and special teams. I think more pressure is on them to win at home. If they get the yips and turn it over, we can stay close and pull out a sweet one but right now, I don't have a good feeling.

It's hard to compare Cal and UF's RBs and WRs since the offenses in which they are used aren't very similar. Now that we know what Cal has, we'll be able to make a better comparison in how UT can defend each after the 15th.

Florida has a lot more speed then Cal and is going to be a lot harder to tackle.

The game in the swamp is going to be ugly. 1-2 after the Florida game and out of the top 25, people will be asking for Fulmer's resignation.

0-3 isn't out of the realm of possibilty. Southern Miss is a team to NEVER overlook. However, I do think we'll win that game.

Florida, I give us basically a punchers chance, but no better. We'll have to score 50 to win.

I'll say it, WE need to focus on SM... I've seen it too many times, our fans need to understand the importance of a good crowd at the SM game.

If our team comes out onto the field and doesn't hear that classic opening game roar b/c of this loss, they could take a serious morale hit. We have enough problems football wise as it is, the last thing we need is a football team that thinks their fanbase has already given up on them.

You may not be concerned about it, but we lose and you will certainly be mad about it.

i saw the fla game and tebow looked alright, but not as good as his stats look...most of his completions were to WIDE open receivers as they easily broke down Western kent's defense. Tebow looked better than i thought he would, but still not as great as his image around the nation.

Can I save this post for 2 weeks? Obviously, you are still not willing to give Tebow or Urban Meyer for that matter any credit.
