1. Get used to seeing UT-Alabama games play out like it did today. The team with the best kicker is going to win most Kiffin-Saban clashes.
2. Daniel Lincoln and Chad Cunningham are disgraces to Tennessee's history of great kickers and punters.
3. We saw today what happens when walkons try to block a D-line loaded with future NFLers.
4. It'll be interesting to see how much of an effort Tennessee can muster up next week.
5. How does Phil Fulmer to Illinois sound?
6. I don't know why, but I have a funny feeling Northwestern's comeback from 25 down today will get them into a bowl and they'll be UT's opponent.
7. It would have been nice to see UCONN cash in their gutsy effort today.
8. The ACC is a complete wreck.
9. Cincinnati just keeps rolling, injuries be damned.
10. No coach in America rallies his team through adversity better than Bob Stoops.

Exactly what I was thinking the whole game

Future very bright. Very proud of the team, but it kind of feels good to be hurt after a loss again.

Congrats to Vol Nation for a great game! You have a lot to look forward to. Definite improvement with each game and another great recruiting class so far. Pulling for you to go to a bowl game and represent the SEC!

With the exception of kick returns, this is the worst special teams units I have seen,

The staff will not attempt to kickoff, and punt because we can't kick it, or cover it.

We are playing at a disadvantage right off the bat. That has to change.

I hope AL never wins another game.

I'll give credit where credit is due...Crompton played lights out today and put us in a position to win the game against the #1 team in the nation on the road. Can't ask for much more then that.

3. I think the walkons did pretty good most of the day. I was thrilled as a matter of fact. All I heard was how Crompton would be running for his life (NOT). Besides, not many all year have been able to block those guys. That has to be one of the best defensive lines in the country. It was a bad breakdown on kicks but the OL did a pretty good job tonight.

Crompton played really well today and our D held an A+ running back to under 100 yards and no TDs period for the #1 team in the country... Just sucks that I went from jumping up and down about the TD, onside kick recovery, Stocker reception to… screaming at the TV some very colorful expletives...I know that "I hate Alabama" was in there somewhere but that's about all I can repeat. I think they did a great job today but I can't help but feel disappointed for our Vols. They had a chance to get it done and just came up alil short and that sucks.

Crompton did a helluva job today.....Can't complain about him the last two weeks....

The Vols hold the #1/#2 team in the country without a TD AT HOME, have a roughing the punter penalty called on us to give the ball back to Bama, have a "Heisman" hopeful RB that had never lost a fumble lose a fumble, have Crompton engineer a TD drive to cut the lead to 2, have our special team make a special play on the onside kick, have Crompton make a huge play on the pass to Stocker to set up the potential game-winning FG.......What a story would that have been for Lincoln to come in after missing two FG's and redeem himself by nailing that kick..... Then the kick to the groin...This one freaking hurts...

It was just so pleasing to me to know that all the AL fans were sweating bullets the last 4 seconds. We had 'em on the ropes and couldn't make a freakin' field goal. We're back, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season, but already counting down the days when we kick bama's ass in our house next year. I'm proud of this team, I'm seeing a hell of a well coached team!
