Kiffen doesn't seem like he knows what he is doing at the head coach level. He's more of a coordinator type. UT can get much better.

If Tennessee is smart(which I question), word out is the Raiders will cut Lane Kiffin as early as this afternoon. Not only has he actually done well at Oakland giving the circumstances, he was the architect of the powerhouse USC offense. If a NFL team isn't interested... Do what you have to do, as soon as NOW, to get him in here! Biggest move of the year.

Dude, He was just FIRED as a coach...Why on earth would you want someone like that?...He could not even cut it at Oakland...No way I would even consider him.

he'd be a solid hire for any program. carroll has complete faith in him which tells you a lot. rumor has it he didn't take the raiders job because garrett promised him he'd be the next head coach at SC if carroll left. his playcalling isn't always original, but his preperation is very good.

being fired has far more to do with al davis being a wackjob and kiffen not being a kiss ass, than it does with kiffen's actual on the job performance.

Last I checked Tennessee had a head coach. A head coach that last I heard wasn't going anywhere per the AD. Hell he will probably pull off a couple wins finish 6-6 and get a extension or even a raise. So until his fat &#@ has retired or been fired its all a moot point. Kiffen will be long gone before Hamilton gets enough back bone to fire Fulmer.

He got whipped up on. To compare Kiffen and Carroll is crazy. Corroll was glad to go. They are having to drag Kiffen out of the building screaming he's still the head coach.

So what he got fired? Al davis is delusional anyway. And Chris peterson? You gotta be kidding. We need someone who can recruit. I don't see kids flocking in to play for Peterson. I would take Kiffen over him any day of the week.

I wouldn't be adverse to looking at Mark Dantonio @ MSU. Hard nosed coach, doesn't put up with crap, and loves to run the football. He put Cincinatti on the map before Kelly took over.

Uh dude, think about what You just said...Peterson and his horrible recruits just laid the wood to Oregon AT Oregon! :clapping: He recruits great and at UT he could get almost anybody He wanted with the style of football He coaches...Kiffen I wouldn't give the time of day...He just does not impress me in the least...Typical pro style offense that never works..Big reason he got his butt fired..We already got that here :eek:lol:
