Thoughts on Gerald Jones at QB (merged)

Considering how things have gone so far, the only genuine argument against it I've seen so far is WR talent issue, but that one's simple: Just let Jones pass to himself

I would like to see jones pass it at least once. everyone knows exactly whats going to happen whenever we run the g-gun.

Did you guys ever hear of that running back from Arkansas mmmm whats his name McFadden or something like that well Nutt job figured out how to use him as a quarterback and look at how stupid of a coach he is and how many games they won using that same scenario. He wasn't ever even thought of as a QB until the defenses started keying in on him then they realized it was opening the recievers up so much down field all he had to do was throw it in that general direction

I really don't see how you could get that typed with all the laughing by using Crompton and reading defenses in the same sentence.

Now everyone knows why he was compared to Shuler. It wasn't athletic ability it was they have the same ability to read defenses
