Thoughts on Bama Game

Their #1 RB is out for the game potentially and Ryan Williams is scared to take a hit.
If we can stop the Simpson/Bernard combo we have a chance.

Simpson is behind Aguilar stats wise....He also makes terrible decisions when pressured...

But the game comes down to Bama's running game vs our defense and our offense vs their entire defense

We are just what that QB from Martin,Tennessee has been looking for to boost his already
sensational numbers.

Tennessee will need to play 4 determined quarters to win this game! No playing hard the first half and then taking your foot off the gas! You’ve got to give them hell the entire game and limit mistakes! This will be the hardest game we have or possibly will play this year! I can see this game going to overtime

Bama could attempt 10 passes in this game and probably win. That's how bad our run defesne is. If Petrino wasnt such a dummy with his play calls in the second half they beat us.

I was wondering what ya'll thoght about the bama game?

I think that we have a very good shot at beating them. I hope we stack the line and make their QB beat us with the pass. There is no doubt in my mind that we can hang with them on man coverage. Put pressure on their QB and stop the run.

On Offense I like our balanced approach. They can stop the run fairly decent but we better not get to reliant on the pass. I would like to see mor 10 to 15 yard outs. Agains ole miss seemed like we either through a screen, 5 yards or down the field. Either way we should beat them as we are superior at almost every spot.

They are going to kill us. Simpson is too elite and will dice us.

Respect to whoever used the search bar to find this thread instead of starting a new one. The fact that it’s from 2004 is impressive, but it’s still TSIO so I’m sure not much is different except some coaches and players.
