A lot of the ignorant florida posters are in all out fail mode because UF only won by 10 instead of 756 like most of the "smart" ones thought it would be.

It's kind of hilarious.

You should be loving that right now that some UF fans are actually unhappy with a win right now. That's all you really go going for you really.

Heres what I noticed...

1. UT and Tim Tebow played very physical. It was obvious UT was conditioned very well especially considering our lack of depth.

2. UF is still a very talented team and has tons of speed in all phases of the game.

3. UF is really missing Harvin/Murphy this year, and while there is still a good run game I don't see both Rainey and Demps holding up all year in the SEC.

4. UF pass blocking left a lot to be desired, we had Tebow on the run all day whether UF fans admit it or not. UT has a good and very physical secondary, good edge pass rush, and a better than expected interior...and Monte.

5. I was not all that impressed with UF's defense. We have no passing game whatsoever, and were still able to run the ball at least decently given our situation. UCLA's defense looked just as good against Hardesty/Brown especially when you consider what Brown was able to do catching the ball today.

6. Another thing that surprised me was the protection the UT o-line gave to Crompton. In fairness we didn't throw that much but with UF's ability to stack the box I thought they would have been able to put more pressure on Crompton.

7. UF can say they had "conservative play calling" all they want but I don't know who you're saving all the big plays for because honestly the only way UF might face a defense better than ours all year is if they play Bama in the SECC.

8. Congradulations UF, it was a hard fought game. You have a good team, but Alabama looks better. See you next year.

and yeah all we got going for us is a good team that was 5-7 last year that just about kicked your *** a great staff and what looks to be a a top 5 recruiting class.

I mean, IDK. yall are still 1-2 and UF is 3-0. And Alabama is 3-0 and UGA just scored 50 and LSU is 3-0 yada yada yada..

its the SEC. IT's never that black and white.

Your fans are freaking out because you've never seen Urban Meyer outcoached before. And yet it happened today. Talent-wise, you guys should have blown us out. It was suppposed to be an epic beatdown. And yet...you couldn't do it. Our staff outcoached your guys. Boo hoo.

Not necessarily. We were there with you play by play. Your longest offensive play was 23 yds, ours 21.

That's asinine...he has done nothing but stand behind JC and has his back 110%. We were having success running the ball, so we went with it. Just because UF didn't have many pass plays, I assume that means that CUM has ZERO faith in TT either then, right? lol

6. Montario Hardesty is a soldier. A real soldier. What a fighter.

7. FLorida played this game very conservaitve. They were obviously concerned about UT's defense.

I agree...UF coaches knew they were in for a fight with our defense.

8. Unsportsmanlike penalty on #6 jaye howard was total BS. What the hell?

He was dancing and showing up the other team. Thats the definition of the penalty. A few minutes later when everyone wanted the same call on Walker, ALL he did was point to the sky and bump his chest with his fist. TT does this ALL the time, so no difference there.

9. UT did everything they needed to do to win. Create turnovers, run OK, etc... coaching let them down in the end IMHO.

Right on, until the coaching comment. CLK went for it on that pass on 4th down and without the amazing play by Ahmad Black coming over the top, that very well may have been a TD. Good call and honestly a good throw from JC.

10. Deonote Thompson being injured had a big effect on this game.

We'll never know. He is a playmaker, but our D held everyone else in check so who knows?

11. JC is the least effective QB on earth.

I was proud of how he played the game. Both INT's were very nice defensive plays...no terrible throws and 'deer in headlights' looks today. Played with a little confidence and managed the game OK.

12. Tennessee's offense will cost them at least 3 more losses this year.

I don't agree here either, big surprise! Our offense will start clicking-don't worry. CLK is a good coach and will continue to be an excellent game manager. Our offense isn't going to set any passing records, but we are gonna be just fine.

Ahem...a "turnover" is when the defense makes a play on the ball and takes possession away from the offense, which is what the defense is supposed to do. So go ahead and whine about "TO's this" "TO's that", but our defense did their job for the most part. Yeah they could have won the game by more than 30 if our defense laid down like in past years but they came out and hit those boys in the mouth and UF didn't know what to do about it. Find another excuse. V,B!

Edit: Oh, and if we are playing the "IF" game, IF we had a respectable option at quarterback to complete passes and keep the defense honest, then Florida is 2-1 right now and your entire fan base is in total pandemonium.

This is the essence of UT's problem this season. JC has the skills and physical traits of a great QB, but he lacks confidence for some reason. I think CLK is going to be a great coach, maybe even a legend if the staff around him sticks it out for at least 5 years, but he had a tough decision to make in this UF game: push Crompton to throw deep and often or give him a few easy throws. He opted for easy success and this will boost JC's confidence enough for him to take UT to a winning season. But he is going to have to show more confidence in his QB next game and the game after that if JC is going to have any success.
