JG is too inconsistent, has the ability physically, but not between the ears. They won't, but at some point you're gonna have to see what your future holds.

Lines are a bit worse than last year overall.

Was hoping to see the defense improve.......I saw serious regression. Seems I start every year asking to seal the edges. Nope.

We are looking at rock bottom, may not have hit it yet. We accelerated at bit today. Hit warp 2.

My thoughts are that Lane Kiffin was the best coach this program has had hands down since Fulmer. Only once do I recall UT looking like stupid while he was there and that was the ole miss game.

I honestly cannot remember the last time I actually watched a UT game. I tape each game and FF X4 through the bad parts. Bottom line, most Vol games take 5-8 minutes to watch.

Our takeaway is that our great coaching staff has to figure out how to best use our talent, or lack thereof. Imagine if GSU was a good team??

Tennessee is a sad program. Players look slow and plays look basic. Team has looked that way for at least 10 years. I don’t even get excited about the football program. There is not any progress or desire to be motivated for any aspect of Tennessee football. Upset I spent the money on South Carolina game at least I get to spend the time with family.

Ain’t that the truth, at least with the Wyoming game you can blame it on the kids being down because of Fulmer getting fired, but there is no excuses for what we saw today

3. Most uninspired performance I’ve seen since Chattanooga beat the Vols in 1958.
4. Play calling and execution were atrocious.
5. Coaches get an “F” as do the players.
6. Defensive players do not know what a change of direction is,nor how to stop it.
7. Two yard pass routes don’t make much sense when more yardage is needed.
8. Gonna be a long year again.

I don’t know where to start ... defense was horrible. We have sucked at open field tackles for 15 years wth. Mid major programs should never be able to run basic dives on 1st down for 3-4 yards at will. Who the hell on the defense is the force contain? Hey JP you might want to have one of your overhangs cover the back in the flats . Omg it looked like a middle school football game and not a good one either.

Vols were OWNED by a team that was 2-10 last season! Enough said... But, as I've said many times before, Guarantono isn't gonna get the job done! And the defense is very BAD! Couldn't stop a 2-10 team....

Wake up call? With due respect, we just go tour A••es handed to us by a lower tier sublet team. Not trying to be a jerk, but I just can’t comprehend how we lost this game. UT has too much talent to EVER lose to a team lole GA ST.

Can't disagree, maybe they learned talent alone isn't enough.

Can’t support a team or coaching staff that exhibits no fire and accepts mediocrity and WORSE with no anger or self accountability.

I’ll never forget when I was a kid watching Coach Majors grab a player by the face mask during the ole miss game in Memphis to get in his grill and chew him out over some boneheaded play. That’s the type of fire needed to pull TN out of mediocrity and back to respectability. Over all these years I never fully appreciated the Herculean task Majors accomplished until I saw our team and coaching staff totally quit today.

Our current HC and entire staff need to find some balls and hold players accountable for crap performance. And the message needs to start with JG at QB. Pull him now.

Just sad, the mismanagement of this university and football program is just short of criminal. I doubt now if UT can recover.
