I went to UT Martin, but have been to my fair share of UT games starting in 2002 up to this year.

I know being an Alum is a different animal, but I feel pretty invested in Tennessee Football.

no doubt, just really out of my own curiosity. not saying non-Knoxville alum are any less of a fan or invested

25-34 for the win!

I'm an Alum and from Tennessee. I'll go fetch him myself and bring him home.

Kiffin to the Hill!

Fire Currie and Davenport!

I’m old enough to have been drinking a cold beer under an orange moon in Tempe in January. I want to do that again before I die so do whatever it takes. If that means Freshwater, so be it.

Most posters during the day are in the 18 - 45 age range. This really doesn't confirm anything.

I do think you are right, that its younger posters that want him. But this can't determine that, even among a sample that by definition is only Volnation fans.

I'm in the 55-64 bracket and never thought I'd consider or tolerate Kiffin back in Knoxville, but when you're drowning and someone throws you a life preserver, you don't ***** about the color. You latch onto it and survive. I'd take him, Leach, or Brohm right now and breathe a sigh of relief. Joy comes when Currie is gone and Haslam is too busy making license plates to mess with our program anymore.

It is interesting that the majority of those who want Lane back were in college either while he was there, or during the NC era. I started college in 1996, so had some pretty amazing years of Tennessee football.

I'm in business with 2 car dealerships. It's my job to know who the people are that are spending the money.
The people that spend the most are the age groups that are most favorable to hiring Lane Kiffin back. The AD and the the athletic board of directors need to swallow their holier than thou approach to this and bring back this proven cocky a$$ winner.

People... get this petition moving. Keep it moving.

I'm not dead set on bringing him back, but there are a lot of options that are worse than him. He'd make things exciting again for sure.

This is very true. Many people dislike Ainge, for example. But he was our quarterback when I was in college, so that affects my opinion of him positively. Same with Kiffin first coming to Knoxville, we were fired up and, although happy with Pearl, tired of being a basketball school.

He was the qb when I was in college as well and one of my favorite qb's we have had. I loved him as a radio personality when he started on tsr. Now that he is on wnml he is and athletic department sheep just like the rest of him. Can't stand listening to him.

Yeah, he needs to get back to having his own opinion and not just following the herd of cats on the Hill.

What I expected... which is why when the quarterback club was asked if they would want Kiffin back, I was not surprised at their response. Bunch of damn ed old blue hairs...
