Those Bashing Dooley

Last night didn't help our recruiting IMO, but, we still have 9 games to make a case, hopefully 10. I don't think it impressed the recruits who were here, but if we get some key wins going forward, they'll keep an eye on us. We'll still have a shot at them. One game isn't going to make or break their decision(even tho it broke my heart). I do think our overall record at the end of the season will impact some recruits. This will be their chance to see if Dooley has started to right the ship. If he hasn't, I suspect some key recruits we could have had will go elsewhere.

We had more highly touted recruits on campus to see the players, vol walk, gameday, campus facilities, locker room and all other perks, than we have had for the Florida game in years. I don't know how that is a detriment to recruiting. If they care so much about the last 2 years, why are they there.

Winning, maybe?? Dooley can't even do that.

Eric, is your Aunt Flo in town? I understand last night's loss hurt, I'm still crying in my beer, but your animosity is higher than Snoop Lion right now. Calm down man, before that vein pops.

His teams have lost three years in a row to florida, our biggest rival. He has never beaten a ranked team and loses the second half of every game he coaches. He hasn't had a winning season and moreover he has just shown he isn't a quality coach. Why are you defending mediocrity. Dude tried. He can't cut it in the sec. Thanks for getting our depth up. Have fun coaching Valdosta state. Bobby Petrino, welcome to Tennessee.

No team Peyton Manning was a part of beat the gators. He shoulda never been allowed to play in the SEC.

Dooley has shown me nothing to prove he can win in the SEC. He's 4-13 in the SEC, never beat anyone he's not supposed to, and never beat a ranked team in his coaching career. If people want to let him get some OTJT here at UT for his coaching career, then season ticket sales will continue to decline, and recruiting will continue to be subpar as well.

I think they care about this year, and if this year turns out like the last two, they'll point to all three as part of their decision. I absolutely think this is a big year for Dooley. He needs wins to keep good recruiting classes IMO. Like I said before, you can only sell rebuilding for so long before recruits start wanting to see results. This is the year they want to see results. Before last night, UF was the most important game of the season. We lost. Now UGA is the most important game of the season. Hopefully we win. Every SEC game is the most important game of the season until it's passed. We need to show we can still run with the big boys. We may not lead the pack, but we need to show we deserve our spot.

Honestly, don't you think his first two seasons should be considered rebuilding seasons? He came into a mess. This is the season that counts. Yeah, he lost a big one last night, but we still have the rest of the season. What if by some miracle we upset Bama? I'm just saying let's let the season play out a little more before we lose our minds.

Year 3, game 3, losing at home the way he did is unacceptable, against any team. People can't even take away a moral victory here or hard fought game, because it can't be considered either. His team quit, and we all saw it.

some people see whatever they want to see. You also compare your thoughts as an over emotional fan to that of a recruit picking a school.

The talk about the guys quitting last night proves, once again, you are too emotional to be objective about anything.

Just a reminder that every once in awhile in football, or all day every saturday and sunday in other words, some teams make plays down the stretch and some teams make mistakes. That doesn't mean the losing team quits every time.

The game got away from us when we had it in our hands, and they couldn't get up from the knockout punch with the long td play. It's sports. It happens. Frustration and losing composure can't happen either, but it does. They didn't quit, and it's a joke that the most emotional and the ones with the least amount of knowledge keep saying they did.
Tell us again how randolph, AJ, Curt, Lathers, Stone, James, Bartholemew, Rivera, Miller, Jaques, Neal, DY, CP, JH, Couch, McCullers, Gordon, Moore, Brewer, and Sapp quit. Teague didn't quit either, but he and Tiny just had terrible games. Bray lost his cool, but was still standing there throwing it downfield and taking a hit about every play when they knew we would pass. Tell us again that those guys quit.

Was it Dooleys fault Bray couldn't hit the broad side of a barn tonight? Was it Dooleys fault Hunter and CP dropped passes? Was it Dooleys fault the D was gased cause our offense couldnt convert in the 2nd half? Our boys were off tonight and too many of you are just too F***in stupid to just support our guys and move on! The players did not execute and we lost!!

Theres a long way to go. Learn from it and move on. It pains me that so many Vol fans are F***in retards!

Flame away!!!!

It was his fault that they quit playing and that was the worst thing about last night. Are u his Mom?

I watched the game from the stands, and can tell from where I was sitting, the team quit when they were down. About 102,000 other people saw it too.
