Those Bashing Dooley

I still support CDD but if you watch the replay, he lost his team last night when he didn't go for it on 4th and 2 when we were driving. Bray's whole demeanor changed after that play. At that point you have to have some balls and show your guys you're playing to win and have confidence in them. In my opinion, CDD pu**ied out at that moment and Bray wasn't the same after that. The rest of the offense feeds off Bray and you could see it in all of them after that. The defense is still a work in progress as I thought it would be early in the season. We just don't have the athletes in the secondary to make up for the mistakes we made last night against a quality SEC team. Plus our Olb/de have to play with more discipline. J. Smith and C. Maggitt got sucked inside and let uf get out on the perimeter all night. I like M. Teague, but he is just too damn slow to be on the field against top talent. He's been exposed too many times over the last 2 seasons. I say play D. Bonner this week a lot against Akron. At least when he makes mistakes he can make them fast, but we will need his type of speed to make contributions over the next 9 games. All is not lost. Still a lot of football to play folks. Go Vols!!!

please stop including CP on the list of those that sucked last night. He had one drop and it was one that pro bowlers make every Sunday.
He played well.

Was it Dooleys fault Bray couldn't hit the broad side of a barn tonight? Was it Dooleys fault Hunter and CP dropped passes? Was it Dooleys fault the D was gased cause our offense couldnt convert in the 2nd half? Our boys were off tonight and too many of you are just too F***in stupid to just support our guys and move on! The players did not execute and we lost!!

Theres a long way to go. Learn from it and move on. It pains me that so many Vol fans are F***in retards!

Flame away!!!!

This is the understatement of the decade. Why is our program in continuous turmoil? The fans. Why is the job not such a hot comodity anymore? Didnt know it wasnt, but who would want to take this job when the patience level and football I.Q. of the fans and donors here is one of the worst around. Major turn off imo. Everyone wants to win today and bc of that unrealistic approach, we wont win today or tomoro. Get a coach, get behind that coach, dont lose sight of what its really about which is the players, get behind them, support them all until the day you die, you win some and holy cow you LOSE some. Reality people. Deal with it or it will deal with u. Get over it, get on with it. Mostly enjoy it. Life is too short to let a game stress u out and consume u. The fans/donors can make a huge difference. I believe in the university and support any and all hires they make. So should u. Orange for life. GO VOLS!

Did u watch the first half? They're not soft. They were gassed.. We still don't have the ideal depth everywhere yet.. A lot closer though.. Simple as that.

Isn't mr orange pants the one who said "you don't have Tennessee to kick around anymore"? Well he lied and you and your man crush keeps taking up for him....SImple as that.

Time to win or get gone. He is a joke and those that keep praising him are buffoons.

Yes, because the coaches purposely instructed Richardson to go full retard at times during the game or Bray to make an idiotic intentional grounding mistake.

You never played sports did you? And no YMCA youth soccer is not a real sport. What you see on Saturdays is what was coached during the week per John majors. Coaching matters no matter what your mommy told you.

We started out the second half in fine shape. Kicked to them, they scored a field goal and then we scored a TD on our first possession of the second half. It lloks to me as though the players panic when things don't go well. Lack of leadership IMO.

This is what I saw also. Was my first time at neyland in 10 years and i was beyond dissapointed... It was one game and I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet. We have 9 more games in the regular season left and I will make my assumption of Dooley after that. Until then Go Big Orange!

Yesterday was the most painful loss since LSU in the 2001 SEC CG. There is blame to be shared, but the man at the top is where the responsibility lies. CP and Hunter both dropped routine passes that killed drives. Tiny couldn't stop jumping. The D was gassed. But in the end, it all rests on Dooley's shoulders. He's the man that gets paid the big bucks to win games.

How we respond in the rest of our SEC games will say a lot. The actions of Dooley going forward will say a lot. IF he survives this year, he needs to seriously consider a new OC. Chaney is not an SEC OC.

Right now, my head isn't clear enough to be fair to Dooley. My gut right now says it's time for him to go, but I don't know if that's what's best for UT or not. Incosistency is not the image we want to project to recruits. But then again, neither is losing. I just don't know. If the rest of the season plays out like yesterday tho, I'll be certain it's time for another coach. This program cannot continue to fail. It's inexcusable.

If depth is still the issue then there is a real problem with player development and conditioning. When hunter, CP, and Bray are gone this year it will be the same excuses and stories again with this guy. But we down owe him a chance to get to the end of the season and see what he can do its still 9 games left we still can have a 8 win season

In the 90's we won some lost some... With CDD it's win some lose every one that matters.. EVERY SINGLE ONE.

And leadership starts at the top...

At some point, the players have to fgure out how to battle their way through the ups and downs of a game. I don't see this happening, and I don't view it as purely a coaching issue. Good and tough teams have good and tough leaders on the field--outside of Herman Lathers, who leads us?

Yes it was his fault.. Not really sure who else you would blame it on.... He is the head coach and makes a lot of money to make sure they are prepared and ready to play...

Really?? The fans are the reason we aren't prepared to play key rivalry games?? From where I was sitting last night, and that was at the game, our fans did a damn fine job at showing their support, but are tired of spending their hard earned money on dead end entertainment, which is why we complain. If we had a team that didn't appear to press like we were down 30, when we were down 7, we would have played much better last night. There was no maturity on the field, once we got down, and it killed us, and that's on the coaches, plain and simple, and that's from top to bottom.

With fans like ours who needs enemas?
I wonder how many recruits we lose because of bashing that goes on on this site?

Zero.

I wonder how many fans we've lost due to the pathetic display of football this staff has produced the past 3 years?
