Those Bashing Dooley

And if he had won this game, your tune would be different, as would many others.
That's the ridiculous part.

Woulda, shoulda, coulda. We didn't, and it's ridiculous that people still are willing to wait for us to somehow to be more than we are, while certain teams in the SEC keep distancing themselves in the talent department, and coaching department.

Look, even I thought we won this game today, but after tonight's piss poor showing, we will do good to reach .500 in SEC play.

How does you being a boxer make you better qualified to have an opinion on the Tennessee Volunteers football team than I do? I am not angry, but wonder why you and anyone else can tell another person he/she can't have an opinion on a message board.

Explain your Avatar. Mine is ugly and scary as sin... Yours though...

Well, I do think you have to have been there to fully understand. I was a boxer for 11 years, I usually dont get into confrontations on this board but some of the comments tonight really pissed me off! It could also be the beer. :)
awww so sad...FIRE DOOLEY!!!!

I have a stinking suspicion that Dooley is neither the organized whiz or the recruiting genius that some think him to be. He would make a good VFL coordinator...head coach...not so much.

If we had won, then I would still have faith that maybe the team and Dools had turned the corner. So yes, the outcome of the game was kinda important. Ridiculous, I know.

Not really, my friend. We are judged on our accomplishments or lack thereof, no?

Of course. We are 2-1. I'd rather watch the rest of the year play out, before crowning us back, as people would have done with a win, or running everbody off, as people are doing now.

You certainly have the right to your own opinion. Right or wrong.

I commend you for having the patience of Job. I don't share that trait with you. I feel like an adequate sample has been taken. That and $4 will get you a Coke at the stadium.

What choice do I have. They aren't going to fire him tonight.

Was it Dooleys fault Bray couldn't hit the broad side of a barn tonight? Was it Dooleys fault Hunter and CP dropped passes? Was it Dooleys fault the D was gased cause our offense couldnt convert in the 2nd half? Our boys were off tonight and too many of you are just too F***in stupid to just support our guys and move on! The players did not execute and we lost!!

Theres a long way to go. Learn from it and move on. It pains me that so many Vol fans are F***in retards!

Flame away!!!!

Leadership, discipline, accountability.

You amaze me if you still blame it on the players after 3 years.

So you don't think the talent level is better then it was 3 years ago? I know many on here aren't smart enough to see past the W/L record so think hard.

So its the players fault that Dooley is 0-12 vs ranked teams? Coaching and making key adjustments has not been the problem? Wow

Yeah, it can't be the disparity in talent, right? That doesn't get fixed overnight...

Here is a little something to chew on:
Rivals Recruiting Rankings

YEAR.....UT.....UF
2012.....17.....03
2011.....13.....12
2010.....09.....02
2009.....10.....11
2008.....35.....03
2007.....03.....01

And we all know about the famous attrition from at least one of our classes (09). So, far all of the people who say we are the "more talented team" (and until tonight, I was one of them), where did our talent come from? Looking back, it doesn't seem possible that we could be the more talented team, does it? The only way to win, then, would have been to out execute and out scheme...in other words, play the perfect game while hoping they make mistakes. The Stanford/USC game tonight is a good example of how to beat a more talented team, but it still takes DEEP talent, and confidence. We are still lacking both...

Yes, yes, yes. He is the CEO of the team. Everything is his fault.

I really don't care whether you like me or care about my opinion or not, but when is enough enough?? Sports are about winning and losing, and that's what coaches are measured on, period. Dooley had the best team he's had in 3 years, and he can't even come as close as he did to beating UF, as he did last year. We had every weapon at our disposal, that people whined about losing last year, yet we couldn't get it done at home. I talked with multiple people up there, and they are fed up with showing up to support the team, and getting fed crap for entertainment. When does it end, or are we going to try redefining the definition of insanity with Dooley??

For atmosphere. Stadium complex and publicity this school has. We need to bring someone in that will get instant results like Saban. Let's just get the check book out
