Nothing's certain regarding public opinion of Tennessee players.

He was a lock last year and still didn't win it. ESPN seems to be all over him lately though with all these draft boards though

Your never a lock for any award when you have a big orange T on the side of your helmet, no matter how much you deserve it.

Berry should win this award hands down. I know his numbers are down from years past but he is the highest ranked DB on anyone's draft board and deserved to win it last year. I say he gets it bc he is the best overall DB in the country, which is what the Thorpe Award is given out for.

If EB doesn't win this award this year, (he should have won hands down last year), then he and CLK should get up and walk out of the presentation... It would be a complete travesty if he was shut out two yrs straight...

Well it's like this. If the same people that made the genius decision to give it to the Jenkins kid from Ohio State last year are the ones voting this year, all bets are off. I'm sure they can find some guy from a community college somewhere that's more worthy. That was a total joke.

I just had a vision of CLK running up to the mike when they give it to someone else:
Look(insert name of winner), Imma let you finish, but.......

I can't argue against Jenkins winning it, but anyway I think Thomas from Texas wins it.

I think he wins it for one reason:

New SEC/ESPN contract = more exposure from ESPN for SEC players when it comes to individual awards
