Would love for Thompson to be able to play the point most of the time, but I don't think that is realistic. That is asking a lot of a true freshman. Golden will most likely play point and Thompson will spell him for a few minutes.

I'd like to think this is the last piece to next year's puzzle. It's still early, obviously, but we will now hopefully have solid backup PG play and won't look so lost when Golden is on the bench.

Under the video it says he is a very underrated 3 star (rivals). Rivals doesn't even list anything. I think we now have our zero star point guard that will help get us to the top.

Golden is NOT a point guard, never has been. He was forced into that position because like Pearl, Martin was slow to realize you need a true point guard, instead of trying to convert a 2 guard to that position. This guy should help, whether he can help as a true freshman is yet to be seen.
