Don't know why, but there's a similar reference to KC in the Mel Brooks movie "Blazing Saddles." Never understood it.

Blazing saddles was a one of a kind movie, just like Mel Brooks was a one of a kind director. An equal opportunity offender, and he left no one out. I like it.
