Who will be the biggest suprise this year? Maybe a newcomer or someone who hasn't had much playing time in the past who will really make a difference this year?

I think Meachem would have to be first. Maybe Mahelona or Toeainia? Heffney? Anderson? Who do you think?

I think Cory will be the biggest surprise on offense. Possibly one of our QB's.

Jonathan Hefney and/or Jonathan Wade on defense is what I would say.

I know people knock on Wasington, but he has produced some top notch receivers over the years. Perhaps talent over coaching?

I agree. You can't blame the coach when guys don't or can't perform. The last 2-3 years, we just haven't had the talent at receiver that we've had in the past. The group did improve greatly as last year went on and now I think it's a strength.

This is off topic.

Storm, I've been meaning to ask you . . . Do you have any idea who that poor Gamecock is in that picture in your signature? The look on his face is priceless. I've got a friend who is a Gamecock fan and he can't figure out who that is or what year it is.

If Meachum lives up to his potential, is that really a surprise?

I think it would be a suprise since he has not played a single down.,

The person in that picture is Anthony Wright. He started that game, but gave way to Victor Penn when he went down with his injury. That was probably the best game our defense played that year. They were way too talented to give up the points they did that year. I watched my video of that game just yesterday.

Thanks Mississippi. Do you think anybody in the stadium that day had any idea that Al Wilson had just blown up a future NFL QB?
