Not wishing for anything other than him to continue to improve the areas where needed. You canā€™t contribute to your team losing in this league and be successful. The 18-22 year olds will gladly do that for you and cost you occasionally. A winning coach canā€™t continually botch the things that a HC has to be good at.

Iā€™ve been labeled a ā€œfaarrr Heupā€ poster on many occasions yet I havenā€™t posted that once. It seems if you hold staff accountable for results on this forum youā€™re automatically calling for a job. Thatā€™s just not the case.

He does that all the time....strawmen with something no one actually said, and pivots away from stuff HE actually says like putting Kiffin in the same category as Kirby and Saban

Iā€™ve said this in most every thread hinting at firing Heupel and Iā€™ll say it hereā€¦if Heupel is fired who would be the ideal replacement? I canā€™t think of one available (not Kirby, Day, Lanning, etc.) coach would be doing as good as Heupel right now.

They don't ever answer that because they know there is literally only about 10 coaches who have accomplished as much or more than CJH has currently

Tennessee should not make a bunch of silly mistakes for the last game of the year. Even if we lose, if itā€™s a hard fought fundamentally sound game, Iā€™m good.

Folks, we may not have had the season that we hoped for but we should be satisfied with it considering all the crap with Nico in the off season and injuries on defense. Yes, we should have beat Georgia and played better against Oklahoma but that's football. I mean A&M shat the bed last night against Texas. It happens. CJH has his flaws but also has some pretty impressive stats since coming to Tennessee. I would rather be exactly where we are than be a Kentucky, Miss St, Auburn, LSU, South Carolina, Florida or Arkansas fan. I'm done looking for that perfect unicorn coach in this league.

Not a bad year to be a Vandy fan but Vols will take care of that today. GBO!

It will certainly not be a pleasant off season if you lose to Vandy. Heupel better be prepared to take more than 7 transfers if he wants to contend next year. Theyā€™ll need major help on defense with maybe the exception of LB, unless McCoy and Gibson Return.

I made a decision, a long time ago, to be grateful for whatever I had no matter how much or how little. It has a lot to do with being deployed, but more so being a man of faith.

Instead of focusing on the negative Iā€™d really love to see more folks focus on the good we have. Instead of doom and gloom, find gratitude that we are, once again, a very good football team.

That we beat the gators in the swamp.

That we pulled out some crazy games this year.

That we had a kid come in and lead this program the right way. With heart and excitement.

To be able to earn a ten win season if we play to our potential.

Letā€™s be grateful that CJH is a man of character and we can be proud of. That our players give their all for Tennessee or are gone.

Letā€™s enjoy the moment because tomorrow isnā€™t guaranteed. And letā€™s enjoy whipping the hell out of Vandy today!!!! GBO baby!

And yeah, Iā€™m still grateful for my fellow Vols, negavols and all. šŸ˜œ
