Nice. Need to shut down Barnett's recruitment.

Horky will be the cornerstone of this class, IMO.

After Butch rolls out the red carpet this weekend I think Barnett will do just that.

All jokes aside, Horky is the #1 rated long snapper in the state with several teams wanting his services. Obviously not scholarship worthy, but would be a nice invited walk-on get.

I'm really hoping we can keep Barnett and Hendrix. That would be a big lose for us in a position of real need

Vic's girlfriends best friend works for me here in Franklin, TN. She told me today that he has an official visit this weekend and he don't think he will be grey shirted but will find out during the visit.

Nope. He can still greyshirt.

Thanks. Couldn't remember if it was blue or grey where you couldn't take OV. Here's another one, if OV now and grey, can you take an OV to the school again in the next cycle?

"Updated official visitors

The following are in town:

Derek Barnett

Garnett didn't come in. Oklahoma is the big leader. And of course due to academics Evans isn't visiting this weekend."

I was eating out with my wife in Franklin tonight and had on my UT hat. So my waiter is this guy working through school. He says man y'all have a great class coming in. Which guy are you excited most about. I said several of them. He said well let me tell you. Todd Kelly is the real deal. He (waiter)said he goes with his father a lot to watch players he's an independent scout. He went onto say creamer bates Malone were special too that creamer would surprise a lot of people. Then he said the biggest disappointment would be Hurd. He also said Paulk was pretty tough back and would be our stud
tailback. FWIW

I think the fact that Evans and Garnett did not come in is more about numbers than anything else. That is the reason that Butch did his Inhome with Cory Thomas on Thursday. I think he wanted to gauge his committment level. I also think the fact that he is not using his inhome with Hendrix until next week is further proof that he feels comfortable with Hendrix sticking with his commit.
