This Weekend Could Seal The Deal

You are incorrect in that assumption. I hope it does happen. A little pain now, for a future gain. You people surprise me. Hell, I have my undergrad from UT and feel as strongly about the University as anyone else. Im forced to do this because there is no other way to change it. Im tired of there being an annual Fulmer saves his ass game each year around this time. Ive just had enough.

False

You're making a fool of yourself.

To be honest, I'm not sure UGA is for real. Saying that not only we will lose, but also lose big is really reaching.

Then dont complain when we are in the exact same position again next year.

I am sure I will be, but still doesn't mean I will ever root against my team. What kind of fan does that? Sounds like the fans are as mediocre as the fanbase if everyone thought like you. Tennessee could be winless and I would still be flying my flags and cheering them on. I dont think we have much of a chance this week, but that doesn't mean I will not be cheering them on.

I can't make the massive leap of logic you seem capable of. But I will give you props for this line
we Tennessee fans, as a whole, seem to have battered wives syndrome when it comes to Phil Fulmer

A loss to Georgia won't shake the world up anyway. Drop Miss State or South Carolina and then you'll see the real wakeup call.

Since I apparently didnt make it clear before. I am a UT alum, I hate Georgia, I do not bleed red and black. However, to get rid of Fulmer, I must do so this week. When push comes to shove, some people are forced to things they normally wouldnt do.

PS, hit the gym.

I can never cheer for UT to lose but Im almost getting there. Fulmer is quickly turning us into a bottom of the barrel SEC team. For God sake Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and I think even Kentucky are better than us. What have we become that we almost lose to NIU. Fulmer is a joke, Hamilton is a joke, and our big time boosters are a joke for letting this continue. Haslam, and etc need to nip this in the bud and I dont care if they are golfing buddies Fulmer has to go. I honestly think he is the worst coach in the SEC. Fulmer has never been a great coach, but he could recruit which won 85% of the games he coached, but now he cant even do that. Are we worried to hurt his feelings? Who cares about what he did 10 years ago because since then the man hasnt done squat.

Big Papa, please explain to me your position on Coach Fulmer. Ill bet you are one of those fans that cries after the games because the booing hurt your feelings.
Well, you certainly seem to have a good bead on BPV :birgits_giggle:

I think a big loss to GA and/or Bama plus another upset loss to Kentucky, Miss St or Wyoming and its over without question........if it isn't over already.

I left Vandy out of that list, because if and when Tenn Loses to Vandy, they will have an excuse that Vandy is ranked and was a better team this year. The Excuses for the Vandy game have already been inked.

There will never be a good excuse for losing to vandy.

Shove it Bama fan, we know you want to keep Fulmer around as long as possible.

bama for many years. We won eight or nine straight at one point--back when we had top talent and the pink elephants were in disarray; back before Fulmer promoted Sanders and before he lost his ability to recognize or correct bad play.

Who we "pull for" has absolutely no impact on the game. Or whether Fulmer stays or goes. From a forum standpoint, the issue is whether or not you're fed up with Fulmer to the point that you would accept a loss to UGA if you KNEW that would be the final straw.

I would. I think we're gonna lose anyway; might as well get something good out of it.

JMO.

Seven straight and eleven of the last fifteen played. All but a memory now.

Still never wish that they lose...Stupid, Asenine, and no we are not almost at the finish line...Fire him or not you all think this is an immediate fix and is not...Recruiting will hurt and firing him will not fix this overnight...Again I want him gone also so do not get me wrong, but there is no way in hell I would want them to lose EVER!

Fans like Daytonvol are why I hope sooooooooo bad we turn this season around and Fulmer can retire with dignity...why root for us to lose, maybe the stress from this season Phil would go after an SEC championship...it's not over until this weekend!

I hate Dayton vol
