Rumors abound that a big loss to Georgia will finally push Phil out the door. Im really starting to feel that excitement for Tennessee football again! I felt it the entire offseason with the hiring of Clawson and the other new guys...but after the UCLA game it dawned on me that no matter who we brought in or what recruits we had, the one constant was Ole' Phill. Since then, I havent really given a damn, other than hoping we would lose to expedite this inevitable process.

Well, this is the week folks! This could wind up being the most important game to the future health of Tennessee football in the past couple of decades. A big loss to Georgia just may finally give us the cure that we need.

Yeah, it may hurt your feelings to pull for the other team, but for some unknown reason, we Tennessee fans, as a whole, seem to have battered wives syndrome when it comes to Phil Fulmer. He was good to us once upon a time, but now hes not yet we keep begging for more from him. Our Administration has to basically be forced to make a change and thats why it has come to this. I hate Goergia more than many of you could even fathom. I am from North Georgia, my family is mostly Georgia fans and I cant stand the fact that they are very good now, play in big bowl games and matter on the national scene, while we do not. BUT, this week, for the good of our program...I have to say it...GOOOOOOOOOO Dawgs Sic' Em WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF!!!!!!!

A massive beatdwon by the Dawgs jusy may usher us out of the reign of Phil and on too much better and brighter days ahead.

I would never wish any ill on the Vols. To suggest so I think is wrong. Fulmer has done a fine job of running this program into the ground all by himself. He doesn't need your help at the very end.

I doubt it. Some people just post such irrational absurdity that it isn't worth the discussion. This qualifies.

Big Papa, please explain to me your position on Coach Fulmer. Ill bet you are one of those fans that cries after the games because the booing hurt your feelings.

Listen, it may take losing to georgia or bama by a lopsided margin, but none of us wish it to happen. Its very likely to happen anyway. Keep those thoughts to yourself.

You are incorrect in that assumption. I hope it does happen. A little pain now, for a future gain. You people surprise me. Hell, I have my undergrad from UT and feel as strongly about the University as anyone else. Im forced to do this because there is no other way to change it. Im tired of there being an annual Fulmer saves his ass game each year around this time. Ive just had enough.

I agree with the fact that we need a change, and need it now, but to root for a rival team is blasphemy. I am not a fairweather fan, I bleed orange through and through. I can understand your point of wanting them to lose because it would almost force our incompetent AD and booster to take action, but I just cannot stomach saying "Roll Tide, Go Dawgs, or anything of such" GO VOLS!!!!

You are an absolute disgrace to the Tennessee fanbase. How could you ever say that and consider yourself a Vol fan. Ridiculous... simply ridiculous. I hope you just become a Georgia fan and never get the honor to be a Vol ever again.

Then dont complain when we are in the exact same position again next year.
