After watching this game again, this was a good lose for our team. They know what they can do. But they also learned what happens when you don't play like you're supposed to. The mental lapses that caused us this game will be great for the growth of this team.

There is a greater loss of respect when you lose thanks to loose coverage than when your loss is blamed on loser referees screwing you.

how did the refs screw us? man up, play smart football, play physical, play in position, and the refs don't matter

Thanks for clearing that up. That's 1 of my few grammar pet peeves.:hi:

This one wasn't. Worst loss in Neyland Stadiums history, no?

HOWEVER.

There may be some confidence gained from at least staying on the field with Florida next week. But I want the guys gunning for a win. Yet another test of their resolve coming up.

For a young team like ours it is. I can think our offense will be explosive next season if we get a QB to handle our offense.

its going to take a little more than a good QB. Manning couldn't even get going if he was being put on his arse every other play

I completely disagree with the ones saying the ref cost us the game. I agree the personal foul was a questionable call but they just flat out played us in the 2d half.

There is absolutely no way that the worst margin of defeat in Neyland stadium history was a good loss.

Everytime i hear someone say this was a good loss i think of Patton's quote, "No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country."George S. Patton. Learn from your mistakes and bounce back...Go Vols!!

I'm getting tired of these good losses. We've been getting them for the last 12 years. When can we get a good win?

whoever says any loss was a good loss needs to go to the doctor and start getting their government checks in the mail. i dont care how bad we look on paper, i go into every game hoping for a win. and when you allow 35 unanswered points, how could that possibly be a good win? good learning experience and reality check....yes.

12 years ago we were the champs. Also I know from playing, when you get embarrassed (like our team was late yesterday) you never want that to happen again. A young team has to be taught hard lessons. We'll be good next year just watch. The O-Line will be the best unit on our team come 2011. Being impatient will get us no where.
