My wife was wondering if they used the Comcast crew from Thursday Night Lights high school games in Nashville

The only thing worse than that tv coverage would be the jumbotron operators at Vandy. They would only show highlights of something good or questionable in Vandy's favor.

Matt Stewart and Chris Doering make up for being horrible announcers by talking more than any announcer has a right to. Quantity over quality.

This thread is totally laughable.....last night i was SOOOOO grateful that technology has advanced to where i could actually watch this game.....I have missed so many through the decades, even bowl games.....Getting to watch my beloved Vols and then read this garbage about how it is not perfect for some folks....totally laughable...you don't know how good you have it.

I think the point is with so many BETTER options for the telecast, comparatively speaking, the quality was extremely poor...And I was raised with 3 channels of TV and no such thing as a remote...Everybody realizes how good they have it I think, but like me they know how good it should ACTUALLY be with technology as advanced as it is....JMO

What part of... this was a game against two "Cellar-dwellers" in the SEC...and we should just be greatful that someone wanted to spend a dime to show it was a blessing...don't some of you understand?

winner.

I've complained before about UT's jumbotron but it is fantastic compared to Vandy's. It was about the size of a grapefruit. And they had the mind set to buy two.

Tell you what, friend, Listening to John Ward was 100 times better than that TV. Surely you haven't forgotten how wonderful Ward was, and the visual he painted. :ermm:

I was and always will be very very grateful to be able to watch the vols.....the announcers are secondary to me and often i pay little attention to them....i would agree ..last night's duo were neophytes compared to Ward.....I just want to see the game , the game.....and missing so many... i could give a rat's patooty who is talking or what they are saying.
