i'm not going. i love the players and the team, but it's just too expensive and i'm not getting my money's worth. the money that you have to spend on parking, gas, and other things to really enjoy yourself adds up to just too much. i'd rather save my money for the basketball season, or go buy some nice fall clothes. maybe i'll go to a titans game and enjoy the atmosphere. i'm really fed up with this program right now, and hamilton and the "tennessee family".
tell me something, if this tennessee family is so important then why don't any other winning programs do this? it's not like we even use the family approach to get all of our significant talent from the state. i could see texas, ohio, florida, or california schools having the "family" approach, but COME ON. we're tennessee, we get our talent out of the state and even the southeast region. the only people clinging onto this family thing are fulmer and those around him. They aren't even literally family. fulmer doesn't invite me to his house for thanksgiving. i don't get christmas cards from hamilton. this tennessee family is a smoke screen. we're a serious college football program, this family thing has got to go. it's a business and because the higher ups are playing this like it's family we are now in a complicated situation where loyalty and bonds are playing a much more significant role than they should.

pure and simple "incrompotence":banghead2:this is like the ceo's of enron telling their employee's to continue buying stock knowing the company was going down.
Trust me, it's not like everyone is against the team, we're against stupidity, disillusional coaches, careless high school mistakes, the same old song & dance that makes us feel we're stuck in the movie "ground hog day". We're tired of losing, tired of the same excuses, same promises. I support the team but what i said above leaves a sour taste in everyones mouth.
Volzilla.
Yep, give them all of it and shut up. A service message brought to you by mike hamilton.CPF made it crystal clear that the players just need to pay their attention to the coaching staff. The only thing this team needs from you, me , or anyone is our money as much as possible as often as possible....anything apart from fan financial support is an un requeited love affair apparently.
Please come to Neyland this weekend and support this team. Those boys out there, bad plays, good plays, how ever you want to look at it, Needs us. Each and every one of them committed to Tennessee based of a number of things but one of the MAIN Reasons they committed was because of Me and Fans Like me. They made their Official Visits, they saw me and fans like me cheering by a hundred thousand plus and they told themselves and their Families, This is where I want to play Football.
How can you ask a team not to quit when you yourself have quit? Support this team, show them we're behind them and cheer like we're still in it to win it.
Follow me and help me Support this team. I'll see you guys Saturday at Neyland.
Unfortunately, we have an AD who has put us in the position of boycotting games because he can't listen to reason. This has nothing to do with a lack of love or respect for our Vols. It has everything to do with looking out for the well being of our present and future football program. What is so hard to understand about this situation? Any CEO of a large company or superintendent of a school system, for that matter, would have been canned already for the type of leadership Hamilton has shown. This clown has refused to do what is right for our program and has put his personal feelings in the mix. If he won't do what every other program in the SEC would have done already, then we must take matters in our hands. It sucks that it has come to this but if you care anything about UT football, you will do whatever it takes to save it before we cross the line of no return. Instead of folks jumping fans for considering such actions, these fans need to examine their hearts and find out who they really are supporting? Is it Fulmer or UT? I have a problem with those fans who are still riding Fulmer's version of the titanic. This is not rocket science or a tough decision at all. Fulmer either removes himself from the picture or he has to be asked to leave. I'm really starting to question his love for our program. I don't know but he sure looks like a guy who is more concerned about breaking General Neyland's record than the well being of UT football. Anyone on Fulmer's side is really close to being labeled an enemy instead of a fan. I say that either Hamilton gets rid of Foolmer or he has to go too.
