8-5 would put UT outside the top 25 and a pretty mediocre season at best.

I don't see UT beating GA and I think either Ky, Vdy, Miss. St or a bowl opponent will upset UT. 6 or 7 wins is more realistic.

I also think that forces Fulmer to step down at the end of the season as well.

Never said that it wouldn't be mediocre, just said that 8 or 9 wins is acheivable if the team gets their act together. and i'm still not sold on georgia. they haven't impressed me this season thus far...

I'm not sold on Tennessee.

I hope you are wrong about winning 8 or 9. I think that will just delay the inevitable of getting rid of Fulmer. I'm not meaning to be a Debbie-Downer. I just think that for the good of the program (for years to come) we need to get rid of Fulmer now.

However, you may be right.....time will tell.

As far as the topic goes...at least the 05 team had a defensive line that was composed of MEN and not pre-pubescent girls.

No way we beat Georgia and Kentucky...... Miss St might smack us in the mouth and also Vandy......
So you are counting a bowl game to get us to 8 wins.......that's priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

We can still, conceivably, win every game. However, we lose at least 3 more, more likely 4.

Alabama and Arkansas will beat us. South Carolina and Georgia could easily beat us. Kentucky could beat us. Miss State beat Auburn today, but I doubt they beat us.

5. Miss State

He reminds me of Rashad Baker. He could have left after his junior year and been a high pick. Instead he came back for his senior season and performed poorly. Now he'll probably be taken on the second day.

This team is worse.

The 05 team lost a lot of close games, Florida, Bama, Vandy, etc.

This 07 has been beaten badly twice.

i said its possible win at least 8 games. i didnt say it had to be restricted to just the regular season. and yes, it is can happen. it's really annoying when fans fall apart and start losing like you're doing. don't get me wrong, we sucked today, but i'm still not convinced in any way that we will lose to miss st. and vandy. there's still at least 9 more games to be played

what makes you think they're that great? then again you could be right though. the way they hung 45 on western carolina today was pretty impressive.

If Tennessee plays a team with equal talent, you can bet we will lose because he ain't outcoaching anyone.I would take any of the other SEC coaches over Fulmer right now and yes, that includes Orgeron and Croom.

Yeah, that 13 points we put up against Florida's inexperienced defense was really inspiring. Eric Berry scored as many touchdowns as our offense did. The commitment to the running game really helped, too. I'm glad we rallied around the -11 rushing yards from last year to really turn it around this season. Great job.

Read this and give some opinions on what yall think...Tennessee LSU FLorida bring in the top recruiting classes year in year out, and I understand some recruits are rank too highly and never pann out but there is no way we get all those recruits that dont pann out, the vols have jsut as much talent as the rest of the SEC but they are not being develop and hasent been since bou t 98.I understand our defense is young but FLoridas defense is jsut as young or younger then the Vols but they had been develop..We have got to clear house before out program gets so bad that we stop gettin all that talent...You take the talent from the past 4 recruiting class put them with a good coach and we got that top 10 program year in year out...but until we get rid of the staff then were jsut diggin ourselves a deeper hole.......i mean honestly something has got to be done...Phil was a good coach but he WAS he not no more its time for a change and its got to come soon....I mean i am really upset over this i live for the Vols jsut like all yall do
