This team is not regressing.

Only Worley is.
The OL actually gave him time to throw te ball. The sacks were on him holding the ball.
Oh look. Another one who would blame the victim of a gang rape for not fighting off her attackers.
It looks like the OL is regessing yes but the last 2 games (excluding Chatt) they played the 2 toughest defenses to date. So of course they struggled more.
If you believe that... then you are beyond delusional.

They were exposed vs Oklahoma but weren't terrible and played well against a much weaker Georgia D.
UGA shut Mizzou out and pretty much dominated Arkansas for most of the game.

They won't look any better againat Bama and that's because theiropponents are fielding better Ds then early on.
The D is great and the WRs still make plays and there's mothinng to say that Hurd has regressed when hr can barely reach the LOS.

The OL has gotten progressively worse... and only the truly insane would deny that.

Everyone calm down. We got beat by a team that 1) was not as low as UT when freeze took over and 2) that we are on the same trajectory.

Bad offenses tend to show signs of regression when playing on the road at a top 10 defense, vs st home vs Utah state.

Dude I'm with you but we are melting down now. We couldn't get 10 pts against a really bad UF team at home. We had -4 rushing against ole miss.

"It's unacceptable what happened tonight," coach Butch Jones said after the game.

I've heard that from CBJ a few times before...if it's "unacceptable" but keeps on happening, is that regressing, not improving, still sucking, all of the above??

I can tolerate a lot of mistakes, but it is unacceptable for a senior qb to have the option to throw it away and throw 2 picks that just kill momentum. There is nothing wrong with a punt.

The first pick he threw should have been a TD to Malone. That was a horribly executed throw. The other where he roll to the right and threw the pick at the sideline was just a bad decision.

Your 1st comment makes no sense. Worley had time and chose not to throw the ball away. 1st time I've blamed Worley all year. Big defender.
So UT hasn't played better Ds aa tthe season has gone by? Thr Dawgs D has been better but if you think their D is equal to OM you are the delusional one.
The OL played better than they did the past 2 weeks. You can't say they regressed when they played against arguably the best D in nation. They're the same. Bad before bad now.

They were never supposed to be good so they are not regressing...they are what they are supposed to be just like Utah St is always just Utah St and I'll never be excited that we beat them

No matter how good or bad you are you are going to look worse if your schedule gets.harder.

It was so bad I have to wonder if Malone quit on the route.

I'm going with d. All of the above. His "butch speak" is getting so old I can't stand to watch the post game pressers or really look at him at all.

I don't think he did. Was just a poor decision by Worley to throw it on a rope rather than over the top. Malone was a couple of yards behind the DB with nothing but the end zone behind him. It appears Worley just doesn't see the field and guys wearing different color jerseys when he rolls outside the pocket.

Agree. I wish he would just come out like Spurrier does and just speak the truth.

If you believe that... then you need to go back and look again. Worley DID play poorly and rushed the throw a few times... but he was still getting sacked and hit MUCH more than even a mediocre OL allows. Let's put it this way... UT is probably a 5 win team right now if they had USU's or ASU's OL.

So UT hasn't played better Ds aa tthe season has gone by? Thr Dawgs D has been better but if you think their D is equal to OM you are the delusional one.
They're not... and you are still just making excuses. The difference is NOT the difference in what the O did vs them and Ole Miss tonight.

How many sacks did they allow? How many rush yards did they produce? How many against Chatt? UF?

They have been considerably worse the past 3 games than they were in the first 4... even OU.

That should set up for some high expectations in Nov. None of those 4 are very good.

Be interesting to see if we are able to meet them.

UTC sacked us 5 or 6 times. Please please stop trying to shine this turd for me. I'm already willing to write excuse checks for them but Bajakian and this offense are giving less and less material to work with.

Yes that pick was just a bad throw. I was referring to the pick where Worley rolled out and could have either kept it or threw it away and decided to throw an int instead.
