We missed to many easy chances on passes and still made some silly mistakes but this team is improving. We still have a shot to win 7 maybe 8 if we keep improving. Nothing about Kentucky,Missouri, South Carolina or Vandy makes me think we cannot win them all if we keep improving. Mississippi game is not out of the question either if we can find some offense, not totally sold on ole miss defense either. If we quit beating ourselves in games we would be in much better position. We took ourselves out of the florida game more than anything they did too us. But I think despite what some super negative fans might say this staff is doing more right than wrong. Still alot to play for, no time to hang our heads. Florida didn't dominate or score 60 or shut us out, if we make a few of the plays that are there they never think about covering. We are improving, we just got to go out and win some games. Our time is coming. GBO!!!!!

My worries would be with lack of depth on the O-line. We are just getting started in conference schedule. 6-6 would be phenomenal with the depth we have. Missouri, S Car, S Alabama, and Vandy are our best shot at this point to pick up 4 more wins. Might surprise Kentucky with the scheme, but everyone else has a true SEC O-line with depth.

1st year head coach. Completely new offensive system and defensive system. Tons of transfers. Only their 4th game and on the road. Anyone that thought we were going into the swamp against Mullen in his 5th year at Florida and win, barring several miracles, was insane. We did play hard and had some missed opportunities. We would have lost by 40 if it was Pruitt still coaching. I’m seeing improvements on both sides of the ball and that’s all I can hope for right now. I think we beat Mizzuo, SC, UK, and Vandy. Year 2 and 3 is where we start testing bigger teams. This is a complete rebuild. Gotta give it time.

If we have enough players to play we will. Our starting line up tonight would beat Missouri if they were all healthy - unfortunately, I think we lost half the starting team to injury. We need to stay healthy.

Heupel had a few boneheaded calls tonight. Eating a timeout before the half was one of them.

Everyone needs to get a lot better, fast. We were a few plays away from being competitive, but at least a whole quarter away from getting the dub.

Mostly agree, but I do think that first UF drive of the second half was a real punch in the face. So, not sure I agree we took ourselves out of the game.

We should be competitive with Missouri, SC and KY. Vandy is abysmal.

Maybe South Alabama and Vanderbilt! This team is a lower tier SEC team. You can`t fix a problem until you get a proper diagnosis! Players overall are not SEC level, not a full roster. Coaches, the jury is still out but the fact they keep playing Milton is not a good sign!

Maybe, just maybe we could win 7 (8 had we beaten Pitt) IF this staff rights one of their MAJOR wrongs & STOPS playing Milton. If they trot Milton out there again it needs to be for the wildcat.

Better than I expected. I really thought we would get completely dominated, but that didn't happen. Can't make stupid mistakes like targeting on a fair catch! WTF was that? Hooker is obviously the starter the rest of the way.

I disagree. It’s a crapshoot with those QBs and receivers. My point is give that play caller an accurate QB and some studs and it’s on. That’s all.

He actually did. We went to the locker room with 1 timeout. It was bad clock management before the half. Coach called timeout with 6 seconds left then we missed a long kick attempt. He could have came timeout earlier and tried to get better field position. Instead he ate 1 timeout

he had 2. Instead of using he he kept the offense running plays and lost 10-15 seconds. Then we get the ball within fg range and could have run another play or two with that kind of time before the half. Easily take a shot or two to the endzone with that kinda time.

As others pointed out we also may have had a couple decent shots in the end zone.
