This team has lost its cohesiveness.

Need to go back to the basics and start over. We are likely to lose 3 or more of the next 5 regardless so go back to the basics and try to get the MOJO back. Maybe in a couple weeks we can get back to form. Right now, we just lost to Vandy, so we are on par with the lowest 4 conference teams. Tear it down and fix it.

We played a more than decent away game last night. Vandy just had a good night shooting 3s--made 10, which I imagine is about double
their normal number, including of course the game-winner. It was a bad loss given the even more difficult road games ahead.

Vandy makes 8 per game

I think they play too many guys. No offensive rhythm.. Easier to play defense when your rotating that many guys. They just don't have that one guard or that one big guy to go too for points, so they should figure out the guys that will play smarter and go with them. They stand around on offense a lot, just look out of sync lately.

I don't see an issue with cohesion. I think it's injury and fatigue. Simple as that.

Maybe they should watch “Rocky” a few times.

I see noone wanting to take the shot, too much focus on pushing the ball around forcing a CRB approved look. Need more of the I'm feeling it, pop the shot.

Yep. We seemed to play more relaxed early in the year. At this point, a lot of what we were playing for is off the table. No SEC regular season title. No 1 or 2 NCAAT seed will be forthcoming either. As last year showed us, the SECT title is meaningless. Gonna be a broken record here, but this team can't stay healthy and they look tired to me. I'm not saying don't try and win games from here on out, but I do think we need more minutes from our bench not less. We need to rest some guys and get some guys healthy. We'll end up around a 4-5 seed anyway so just finish the season by getting healthy and recovering some fresh legs then give it your best shot in the NCAAT.

Not going to be a complainer but I do have a question,

WTF HAPPENED TO THIS TEAM!?

Worn down by the defense we play and they're injury prone. Barnes screwed up by not getting another PG over the off season. Now we're paying the price as ZZ is out of gas.

The curtain has been pulled back and they are an above average team. They have a chance to do some damage but it's going to be a challenge. Hard to believe out of 10 man rotation there is not one go to player.

The team is just going through a funk and is struggling. It’s not that abnormal.

If they can fight through it and find their footing, they will be better for it come tournament time.

And if they don’t, the season will end very quickly with a big thud.

Passing up that dunk was concerning on a lot of levels. This team needs more alphas who want to step on the opponent’s throat. That was a very beta, passive play…and a very bad one at that.

The "cohesiveness" I spoke of was in reference to the offense. Our defense is still good. Our offense has slowed down so much. Think back to the games where we looked good. The ball was popping all around court. Inside, back outside, top of the key, etc. When moving like that we are tough. Right now the players seem very unsure of where to pass the ball. Because of that, we can't get open. We are making 55 -65 points a game. That's terrible. We should be putting up 75-80 every game. we can't win if we can't score.

I don’t think it’s all doom and gloom yet. Go back and watch how many tough, contested, shots Bandy made. At least 8 maybe 10 and three of those were borderline miraculous.

Oh geez. Really? Are you serious we are no better than the 4 worst teams in the league?
