Texas A&M avoids Georgia, Alabama, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, and Tennessee the top 5 teams in the SEC. We know ND is an average team, we know LSU is an average team, we know Texas is a bad team, and I suspect Missouri is average but we will find out this coming Saturday.

Considering no conference winners made it to the semifinals in 2024, that’s not necessarily a terrible situation to be in. At this point, we can’t tell whether anyone on our remaining schedule will be ranked higher than us by the time we play them, anyway.

I'm not "worried" I'm mad becasue its more so about how Texas teams get soft schedules. They literally avoided the Top 5 teams in the SEC, or at least the Top 4.

but all we really care about this point is the playoffs, 10-2 gets us there as long as the loss isn't to New Mexico St, but since some here think we will lose 4 games it's gonna be "tough"

What if the conference runner up gets smoked and Tenn gets a better spot?
If Tenn's only losses are by a score to Georgia and Bama, and those 2 are probably the favorites to make it, what if A&M gets beat badly by one of them? They'd likely move Tenn ahead in the rankings for a better playoff spot.
