And the nail (well, one of them) in the coffin has to be that the D continues to get worse! We didn't look nearly this bad against NC St. and the yardage we give up rises with each game. Mizzou could be an ugly game...

Very.

The way I see it.

1. We recruited for a 4-3 defense.
2. We hired a DC who runs a 3-4 defense.
3. This means the team is not built for a 3-4 defense.
4. We see the results of this each week. Until we can recruit people who are built for this defense, we will not succeed.

This is not to say that CSS is not accountable for P*SS Poor Defense or the players for not executing. Both parties needs to click in order to be successful.

He needs to evaluate his talent and see how the current depth chart can fit into his defensive scheme and play to each player's strengths.

I don't see us firing him due to his buyout amount.
We honestly don't have the money to afford more buyouts. (i.e. Cash only Concessions now)

I'm still trying to figure out why anyone is surprised. We knew they scored a lot of points coming into the game and we give up a lot points.

Yep, Mizzou could certainly be an ugly game, especially if Franklin and his WR's remain healthy... and if they can get their running game firing on all cylinders. Yep, if Dooley and company are not ready for it, next Saturday could prove to be a very long day.

However, here's hoping Dooley and the D can do something to stop the Tigers from Columbia. GBO!

You could almost tell the exact moment people figured out our defense. The the 4th quarter against Florida is when offensive coordinators started laughing and banging fists on desks because they didn't realize it before. This defense just doesn't know what the hell they are doing.

This isn't how I want to see records being set.

Congrats to Bray for finally not crumbling at the end of a game.

I was expecting a INT on the last drive.

At least our Defense got some much needed stops in the 4th quarter.

It was ugly but I'll take the Win.

Agreed. And it's like each team knows they just need to slow down our O enough, because scoring on our D will be no problem. Sad...
