Sirmon and Wilcox will follow Petersen to UCLA and this is becoming more and more real by the second.

Thompson is interviewing for the UAB job, pending us promoting him to DC which may save him for us.

Hinshaw is gone, and that's basically all there is to that, it seems.

Petersen's son actually was diagnosed with cancer when he was a one-year old, but has received treatment. There have been reports that the Boise doctor that treated Petersen's son has moved on to UCLA.

So, as far as there being a chance CP goes to UCLA, I wouldn't call it a long shot. I think the only question is whether JW wants to make a lateral move back to the west coast.

Per L.A. media, they will go to $25M/5, if they haven't already. He is their #1 choice, and they are determined to make him an offer he can't resist. The prevailing on-air opinion is that he will come and Wilcox will come with. I do think Wilcox will seriously consider coming West, given the right circumstances and the right package.

Like UT, UCLA has been reluctant to pay the big bucks in the past, but the USC loss has flipped a switch. (Daja vu UT-UK.) UCLA has billionaire boosters who are ponying up, and the AD is opening the coffers to get a big name.

Making 5 million in Cali, is like making 2.5 in Idaho. Much rather live in Boise myself.
