SEC's Weakest 2012 Schedules

1. Tennessee Volunteers
Whats To Like: Missouri at home and trips to Vanderbilt and Kentucky.
Florida and Alabama come to Knoxville this year and no LSU or Arkansas on
the schedule.
Whats Not To Like: Road trips to Georgia, Mississippi State and South Carolina will provide a significant challenge. Alabama is on the schedule.
Toughest Non-Conference Opponent: The Vols take on North Carolina State in the Chick-fil-a kickoff game.
Upset Prediction: Kentucky. The season-closer against the Wildcats could go either way, but Kentucky has more talent and more depth. Expect the Wildcats to be the better team at seasons end.
Must-Win Game: Georgia. The Georgia Bulldogs figure to be the front-runners in the SEC East going into the season. A September 29th win against the Bulldogs would make the Volunteers a surprising contender in the East.
Projected Record: 5-7 (1-7) Tennessee isnt quite back yet. They cant take advantage of the semi-easy schedule and finish with a losing record.
Man oh man. Gentlemen (and ladies I guess, if you're out there), I thought I left most of the uninformed negavols over on the KNS site.
Saw this thread got pretty long so I read the whooooooooole thing just to see where we are as a fanbase (all 30 or so of us).
What started with some kid who was excited just to get an article published, regardless of its accuracy, has devolved, once again, into an argument between those who base their opinion on Dooley's past alone vs. those who have faith in the changes that have been made since the end of the season.
All I ask is that those of you who wish for Dooley's failure because you don't like him, don't call yourself UT fans. VolBeef, at this point, you sound much more like someone who wants Dooley to fail just so you can say you were right. Pathetic.
That's just dumb. There is a HUGE difference in WANTING someone to fail and THINKING someone will fail. Totally different things.

No they don't. They may give you reason to believe he will fail... but they "tell" you NOTHING until you apply reasoning and in your case bias to them.HIS record and HIS past tell me he will fail.
No. It simply isn't. Past success/failure is useful in determining future results but you have to consider ALL factors. All you have is hope based on emotion.
He has now been a head coach at 2 schools and at both stops he has a losing record.

Yes there is. And you have made it obvious to everyone that you WANT Dooley to fail. You are fully vested. You haven't said things like "I my opinion he will fail". You have constantly made declarations that he would fail. You have gone on to claim that anyone who disagreed with or even questioned your ironclad declarations of what WILL happen are not living in "reality".
Newsflash for you. Reality is NOT defined by what you believe will happen. In this respect, you have shown yourself to be detached from reality.
Do the board a favor and show us all where I have EVER said I hoped he failed? Just one time, please! I defy you to show it because you can't. I have however said many times that I hope I'm wrong and that he succeeds.

You demonstrate it constantly by making declarations then ignoring anything that suggest you could be wrong. You are vested. YOU are the one thinking with emotion... not love for the Vols but vanity. If Dooley succeeds then it isn't just your opinion that was proven wrong... it is what you have declared to be so.
You don't have to say it in so many words to demonstrate the attitude.
