All he had to do was position EB to shadow McCallister and shut him down or better yet lay him out. EB was out of position all day.

Can't blame Monte for so many injuries at LB. You need them to stop the Wildcat, and don't have them.

Yeah, tough week for CLK. First the arrests, a whipping by Ole Miss, and now he has to tell his Dad that the defense isn't getting the job done! 9 touchdowns in the last 6 quarters.

Yeah, I'm sure you, in all your infinite wisdom, could have come up with a better game plan than Monte.

How much money do you make coaching?

Got to be careful where to place blame because of the distractions off the field and the effect of it had on the team.

you guys amaze me. You know more than a man who has coached longer that you guys have followed football. Monte has years of great coaching, at the top level, and all of the sudden some anonymous DA on an internet board tells him what he should have done. Get real moron. Ole Miss wanted it more and kicked our fanny--on the field.

I'm sure Monte has no clue that the D didn't get the job done. How in the Hell did his defense win so many games in the NFL?

Idiocy is running rampant on this board today.

There is a difference between thinking he's bad coach and thinking he got outschemed and didn't adjust properly. He has shown a lack of ability to properly position his defense (scheming/angles/position is coaches job) against the spread/rush "wildcat" offenses. He kept playing a 1 deep safety when it didnt matter, he kept guys in zone coverage (notice no man following whomever ole miss put in motion) into the 2nd half.

Bad day for Monte.

I think he should have brought everyone in the box to shut the wildcat or the wild rebel down early in the game. Like he had to do against Alabama. 282 yds by one player is incredible. I love Monte though.

Let EB play the free safety, and he stops all those long runs. EB can't replace 2 or 3 linebackers.

There's a difference between getting outschemed and getting your hat handed to you at the line of scrimmage all day long. Coaching does not matter if you cannot push the other team out of the way. Especially when you are talking about running the ball. With all the d-line recruits we have coming in, help IS on the way. It's just too easy to blame coaches when your team loses.

Ole Miss ran left all day and we had no answer.

Well if you're going to call out one of the greatest defensive coaches ever, at least edit your post.

SAY WHAT?! Another computer chair coach making brilliant observations! Face it the entire defense didn't look ready to play! I say again the coaches can't play the game for the players! No execution on either side of the ball= azz whippin!!!!!!!!!!
