it's just hard for me to believe that you give him no credit for bringing LSU back to national prominence. esp considering that there were a few coaches that tried and failed.

This whole mixing concert memories with Scripture needs to stop. I mean... seriously, this would be scapped in the pubs, wouldn't it? We're falling right into Rex's plans for the forum.

I'll give the credit in some areas... and to some degree like I said... yes he brought LSU back to the spotlight... BUT he did not single handidly do that. No coach is so good that he can do it all himself. It requires a supportive cast... and to my example i'll have you look at Bama. If Saban was that good Bama might should've been playing you in the SECCG.... but he finished .500 which tells you the story.
