That's irrelevant! My point is that why would UT send 2 girls out to help recruit players that are already committed?? Wouldn't a simple phone call suffice?

This is personal, one of these girls has a crush on one of these players, and I believe that's what this boils down to.

Everyone I have talked to from UAB fans to Ohio State fans agree there is something wrong with it. A beautiful girl in college is NOT going to build relationships with highschool kids 200 miles away... Come on quit looking foolish!

I will absolutely agree that they do not actually like these kids. They are just doing what they think will get these boys to Tennessee. They are not asked to do this, they sign up for the job. Are all these girls 'dirty'? No. Are some of them? Yes. That being said there is nothing wrong with what is going on and there is nothing abnormal about it. It happens at every school. have you ever seen the movie He Got Game. On his recruiting visit, girls are lining up to 'sway' him to come to said school. This has been going on for years, and will continue to go on. In my mind UT didn't send these girls there. They thought it would be a good idea, and probably promised the guys on their visit the week before they would come. You are blind if you think this is abnormal and you're a moron if you think this is a big deal.

Basically the sign proves this was more personal than recruiting for those that have followed this. Both these kids were already committed and knew these girls from visits and camps. If this was a recruiting trip the way it had been spun that sign would've been for Lattimore and actually more along the lines of "Come to Tennessee" the way the times spun it. This was a simple case of two girls coming to support friends that were already committed. Complete witch hunt.

With that, I will agree. But I doubt that's the case here, and even if it is, the NCAA will have to prove that UT sent the girls there for it to be a violation. I think this staff knows better.... IMHO.
