It's already confirmed they were there, just a matter of if it was a funded trip now.

Pretty much jives with what we already know. The question still remains whether the staff had any knowledge of this. Right now we stand at a secondary violation.

Willis said he had 'no contact with the women'

I never heard that. I saw that his father said he invited them down.

I don't think this matters as long as there is no proof the school sent them down.

These girls can be friends with whoever they want. Willis's father made it sound like his son is kind of dating one of them. Unless there is a rule saying a hostess can't date someone then I don't see the problem.

Eh, it was already confirmed that they were there. The sign that they are holding isn't incriminating. One would assume that there are probably other pictures floating around out there.

I would have to hope that these girls did this of their own accord, there is no way that the university is that stupid to send them and think it wouldn't be an issue. A couple of college girls on the other hand....

Everyone mentioning the sign.....It's possible that they brought more than one.

Now that we actually know the two hostesses involved, does anyone know where these girls are from originally?

Assuming that the university didn't know about what these girls were up to, I would LOOOOVE to be a fly on the wall when university officials have a little sit down with them.

So what exactly did the NY Times article get right?

Is it an NCAA investigation? No.
Did the sign say "Come to Tennessee?" No.

Hell, it looks like the only thing that they got right was that two girls went to see two high school players play in a football game.

His dad said they were there. Even the girls admitted to being there. They claim they paid for it. But the sign doesnt say come to Tennessee like everyone said.

The sign was made and trip taken after they both gave their verbal commitment to Tennessee and the sign simply acknowledges that.... Does not say "Come to Tennessee" The real issue here is if these girls were there at the request of the coaching staff, which both Kifffin and Hamilton have denied. I only wish the girls would make a statement

Why would they have a sign stating "Come To Tennessee"?

Willis and Miller were already coming.

I'm actually kinda glad this picture turned up, because that sign does not say "Come to Tennessee," & it actually further validates the dating rumor.
