but , I would put Dervin in the Wildcat first drive. Just very fast ,over the ball and go. Run option to Lane ... some Ga.Tech ****

The O-line can't run block! Tennessee would be better off going 4-wide and run an draw ever now and then.

That could work...but more likely it will not...just run plays out of the play book and play field position...make LSU march the length of the field on their drives.

thats good thinking if were playing NCAA 12.. but in actual football, lsu is too fast.. our line wont win the LOS.. good idea though

I was actually thinking the same thing. When Bama struggled last few years Saban just put the running back in the wildcat.

I agree or put im at running back...... I dont understand why they do not play him at running back... What do we have to loose? Marlin lane received punts until devrin took over and marlin returned kick offs until devrin took over! Does everybody believe that all the other 10 players started blocking better for devrin?? Because he has returned 3 for like 50 yards in two games.. i dont undertstand this.. makes me suspicious if its the oline or running backs!

I will say this , we need Dervin in space ! He is dangerous , just like Berry ! He has a natural ability to "Get Away"

I don't see how this is any way related to what Georgia Tech does...don't bring their offense into this.

Is this a case of the grass looking greener on the other side of the fence?

Unknown > known, because known sucks.

Let's totally change the play book in the middle of the season. have the coaches play 10 hours of NCAA 12 and take their Queues from there, yeah that's the ticket.

whatever happened to us running slip screens and tunnel screens to the receivers?....we used to run the heck out of those...i think that could be a nice fit for him

Don't want to be that guy but the wildcat doesn't work in NCAA 12. There is a significantly better chance that it would be effective against LSU in real life.

Isn't that kind of how Oregon operates? If it is and it didn't work for them, I promise it won't work for us!

Here is a quick number for you guys devrin placed 2nd in the state of tn in the 100m dash.. Running a 10.97 If you recall brandon james from flordia ran a 10.87. or even a better comparison chris rainey runs a 10.72. that is pretty dang close thats almost a blink of a eye difference.. devirn young is 5,8" tall weighs 165 supposedly chris rainey is 5,9" tall weighs 174. And look at what he is doing every week!!!

Does the OP not understand that in order to have a successful Wildcat, one needs to be able to run block effectively?

i say we punt on every first down and hope "pick 6 lee" comes back
If you run punt block on Tecmo Bowl you will sack the QB every time. I don't have a playstation 3 or 2 or 1 . . . I have a Wii fit that has only been used to watch youtube and keep me un-fit.

Since we cant run between the tackles i think we should put Devrin and Neal in the WILD SMOKEY formation!

Sigh... So in other words if we are able to get 14 rushing yards or less and We stand a chance? ...We are so dead

I say we just let M. Simms take the snap run around in about 2 and a half circles looking confused the whole time and right before the LSU defense swallows him up maybe he can toss it straight up in the air and hope by some miracle D. Rodgers runs under it and takes it to the house.
