This makes me sick

It makes my blood boil every time I see a Tennessee state issued license plate with an Alabama Crimson Tide logo on it... or a Florida Gator logo.

Specialty Plates - Colleges

What a disgrace.
How about the Tennessean having Alabama player interviews?!!! WTF?

Look at the video section on the right, mid-page. That pisses me off something fierce. Bama has their own coverage in their own state. I'd be shocked to see a Birmingham paper covering UT players interviews.

What makes it worse is that in Alabama, we don't get the option of getting plates from the other SEC schools, either. But hey, if I ever feel the need to order up a University of West Alabama or Tuskeegee plate, i'm all set. :good!:

I've seen and hated this for years. It's amazing how low your state will go for money. You could start a campaign to get your state lawmakers to do something about it but they would just laugh in your face.

Same here in Virginia. I can get pretty much every other SEC team but not UT. For a while I had a personalized plate that read LVDVOLS. Most of these fools up here thought I was a Duke Blue Devil fan.

I bet it's a conspiracy with ESPN to show us a lack of respect.

I didn't see UGA, LSU or USCjr on the list. Here in Georgia, we now can buy tags with the power T on them. The constabularies are trolling hard for revenue. A friend got a $400 fine for tinted glass. I can imagine a UGA sympathizing cop stopping me with my Power T tag after we kick his dogs around.

The government whores are desperate for funds. Same deal when they place the automatic speed devices with cameras in certain "zones". They mask their greed by claiming it saves lives. BS!

I live in GA and I now have UT tags on all my vehicles! The hillbillies down here just HATE IT. I get a lot of them tailgating me all the time. I good brake check seems to send them the right message.... Of course all my gun stickers just might also help :D

i live in PA and i went to the local fair this summer and theres a stand that sold the front plates for your car. there were UGA, Florida, Bama, LSU, USCjr, AND Tennessee plates available. i really wanted the UT plate but it was about $20 and i dont have a car anymore.

i found it interesting that these people were actually selling UT plates due to our, er, recent success (or lack thereof).
