Heupel wasn't perfect. Some good points are made by the OP, but let's face it .... we are not talking about any of them if we can just make a 42 yard field goal.

I'm heartbroken with the loss .... and yet, that's easily the best we have looked on offense since 2022. The defense needs some adjustments, but I'm excited for the rest of the season.

GO VOLS!

You are talking about 2016. Kirby Smart's first season at Georgia. Georgia also lost to Vanderbilt at home two weeks later, and they had already lost 45-14, at Ole Miss the week before our game.

This is Josh Heupel's 5th season, and the program appears in good shape.

Tennessee is putting a nice recruiting class together, especially on offense. In Butch Jones's 5th season at Tennessee in 2017, we lost at home to Georgia 41-0, and Butch Jones was fired before the end of the season. Tennessee was also hemorrhaging what few blue chip Class of 2017 commitments that we even had, such as Cade Mays. Throw in Amari Rodgers, a teammate of Mays's and Butch Jones couldn't recruit Knox Catholic worth a $hit, and Butch even had a son there. Butch and his wife paid for their scoreboard. Heupel has landed Tyreek King.

Yeah, that Butch Jones at Arkansas State.

I suspect that you know all of that though, and you are just making an extra effort to be negative. You come across as a troll.

Nobody with any common sense is going to draw equal footing parallels between playing Georgia now vs playing them from 2013-2016.

That's like saying that beating an Alabama team coached by Kalen DeBoer = beating an Alabama team coached by Nick Saban.

Ridiculous.

You probably kick your cat or dog every evening when you walk through the door. Most likely played trumpet in the band and never played football other than Madden or NCAA.

I agree! The refs also didn't call PI when our WR got mugged by the defender that didn't intercept the ball. UGAs defender was all over the receiver and shielding the WR without turning to make a play on the ball as well.

You would be very wrong there little Minion. Never played in the band in my life. Don't own any dogs or cats. Spend a lot of time visiting my kids and 5 grandkids spread out over 4 states. Nice try...you need to try harder. Do better!

Hmm, no mention of playing football - that explains a lot. I played through college and coached from flag through 8th grade, so I actually have some football sense that you seem to be lacking.

But hey, enjoy flaming everyone on here and being disappointed in the Vols.

I played football little Minion...And was on football staffs for over 30 years. College and high schools in the 70s, 80s, 90s. You really need to do better Minion.
