This loss is on Tim Banks

Wrong. It’s 100% on Heupel. Pathetic. Not one area this team improved all year. Against quality opponents, his offense was a joke. The offense gave up multiple 3 and outs.
Shhhhhh….don’t point out facts. People who are just happy with a winning season (8 wins against horrible teams) won’t like these kinds of facts.

Vandys less talented defense dictated what our offense did and anybody with any sense knew Kill and Pavia were going to toy with Banks and they did.
We try to find the ball then go get it like pee wee football, on our heels causing more bad angles trying to react instead of freaking disrupting and dictating and I’m tired of it. Been tired of it for 3 years.
600 yards and 70% 3rd downs. 300 rushing. Flat embarrassing.
Yes Yes Yes

TN should never be in position where an offense has to score everytime they get it and that was the requirement in the 2nd half. When everybody, including teammates, know there’s a 70% chance the opponent will convert on 3rd down, it’s deflating af.
These numbers are flat embarrassing.

Are you saying that Tennessee should be able to score half their scoring average and win just becuase its Vandy?

I’m saying at no time in past or present or future should our football program feel like our offense has to score 40 in sec games to win and even lose when they do.
Thats what I’m saying.

So, your argument that coaching wasn't the problem is that coaching was the problem

After several years it's apparent that Josh does what Josh does, D be damned. Instead of changing what he does, he thinks he needs to do the thing that isn't working better.

"It didn't work because <reasons> but if we do the exact same thing, over and over, eventually it'll work because they'll stop stopping it!!"
🤭 The heavy running game sure helped the defense last year. 😯

OL got destroyed in 2nd half. They struggled vs the “big boys” in the SEC. Some could be understandable with 2 freshmen starting on the right side.

100% on CJH
Banks is here because of CJH lack of accountability. Dont blame him for sitting in a seat that should’ve been taken from him already. He’s going to suck for as long as we allow it.
Correct. Offense was a hot pile of ****. Defense has sucked all year. Heupel is fuggin clueless. Worst lost to Vandy in the modern era. I don’t think Dannybor Heupel are in touch with reality. **** your light show. **** your premium level, special access seating. **** you Danny and the horse you rode in on:

Majors fired Donahue who was a good friend of his. Heuple needs to have the courage to do what what is needed. If he can't make the big decisions that are needed he will be gone in a couple of years. This is the new normal in college football. I would hire Gruden in a minute if it could be done. We should have thrown the money at him instead of hiring, Dooley, Jones, Pruitt and add Heuple to the list after toninght.

Richt fired Martinez who was his college roommate and in his wedding. Heupel can kick rocks if he can’t make simple HR decisions.

I am now watching the Iron Bowl and AL's defense to FAR AND AWAY better than ours. And I just talking about being in the correct position and playing what the position requires.

BTW, think about this.

TN had one of the best defenses in the NCAA last year because of the players we had, and *NO* team came after Banks to coach their team. Inside the circle, they know.

Starting with VN on the goal line when VN HAS to pass and they are in a run defense. We have good players, they are continuously out of position or playing way off when they should be tight.
Honestly, I don't think we're all that talented. We're certainly not well coached at some positions nor are we disciplined. I see poor evals and poor development as being the root of our problems.

Well let's be honest here. UT is still under NCAA sanctions. We lose...what...2 'ships a year and we can't have our full allotment of unofficial visits because of probation. Can't expect Heupel to wok miracles with such a debilitating punishment. Gonna need at least 7-8 years for Heupel to get this ship back on course.
