Tim Banks will always suck but the offense sucked out loud the last 4 out of 8 quarters this year. Only one half of offense the last two games. When your defense sucks the offense must perform. Huepel is done for here.

Starting with VN on the goal line when VN HAS to pass and they are in a run defense. We have good players, they are continuously out of position or playing way off when they should be tight.

We scored 24 points. Only 3 in the second half.

Wrong. It’s 100% on Heupel. Pathetic. Not one area this team improved all year. Against quality opponents, his offense was a joke. The offense gave up multiple 3 and outs.

Nope. Players have to accept blame for poor individual execution.

Sometimes I think you give football credit for being a lot harder than it is Bernard. I’m in no way saying I know more or deserve to be a high level coach, because I obviously don’t. But our staff has just made some flat out baffling damn decisions this year.

It wasn’t that complicated. Our run game was working. We knew pavia could be a game changer with his legs. We stopped running and we were never in position to contain Pavia all night. Our guys looked like they had never been coached to set an edge their entire life.

Yes I understand couch coaching is easy, but damn tonight was just flat out awful.

Bringing the house was effective the few times we did it today. NFL teams do it all the damn time when the back end is depleted. No it's not that hard. Heupel's insistence on going fast was freaking crazy. We have better players than they do. That second half coaching was bewildering.

Naw this reminds me of 2016 and 2023 to be honest. 2012 was the staff and team completely imploding as we lost to Kentucky with a receiver playing QB.

This season is more losing to teams in blowout fashion that we were equal to or slightly better.

That was 2011 when we lost to KY, not 2012

The defense was terrible, but the offense only managed 3 points in the second half.

This loss is on the entire coaching staff, and it was basically the culmination of an entire season of a poorly developed and poorly coached team across the board.

He needs to check with Heupel. If Heupel is going to go as fast as humanly possible it really doesn't matter

Heupel offense probably needs a runner at QB to make the offense stay on the field when things get tough. Aguilar is an absolute warrior, but he has limitations. Hes not going to carry it 10 times and be a threat to create chunk plays with his legs.

When the offense is operating at hyper speed and not generating first downs, the defense is easily gassed.

There is truth to this. If the hurry up/fast tempo offense doesn't click, they're only on the field for a few minutes and punting. Years ago the Houston Oilers ran a version of this and DC Buddy Ryan punched the offense coach on the sidelines for giving the ball back so quick

I think that was due to Vandy's DC making adjustments. Tennessee scored pretty easy in the first half then were shut down in the second half.

Danny White will wake up in a new reality tomorrow morning, if his phone isn’t already ringing. CJH will now start to feel some heat for the first time…3 home losses with a blowout to Vandy should never happen.

Wrong. These players are getting paid bout bucks now. It’s more their fault than Heupel. Individual effort has cost us games this year. As a player you have to have that want and desire to be great. That can’t be taught or coached up.

Wrong who signed off on the players cruited and development and scheme. It always starts at the top!
