This loss is on Tim Banks

Yeah, but running the offense so fast is a killer when you had a running back rush for 92 yards in the first half. Heupel did the same damn thing the second half. Hopefully he will figure it out. He knows more than me, but these newfangled offensive "gurus" are stubborn. White will address this I hope. Falcons lost a Super Bowl doing this same thing
Oh, I totally agree. The theory is obviously to score a lot of points and play bend but don’t break defense. There’s got to be give and take though.

I haven't been on the board in a long time but I agree...time for Heupel to do the tough, but right thing and replace Tim Banks. We need a tougher, sounder defense that does not give up so many points. 41 to UGA, 34 to Miss St, 31 to Arkansas, 34 to KY and now 45 to Vandy.

Honestly I’m glad we’re losing. We were going to a crap bowl game either way. Maybe coach will finally wake up and address the issues instead of letting his buddies hang around. This is pitiful

As I’ve been saying all season, this offseason will show whether Heupel will be here long-term. If no significant changes are made, then his clock is ticking.
This is a fair assessment. Heup has had time to get the roster where it needs to be and the staff where it needs to be.

This year’s defense absolutely reeks and the offense goes into its shell in crucial situations (like after getting turnovers, or just before halftime) or takes off entire quarters.

If Heup can recognize and fix these problems, that’s preferable. If not UT needs to start thinking about alternatives.

This loss is on our head coached. Unless I fell asleep and missed Vandy recruiting a bunch of great players, getting a massive NIL budget and buolding amazing facilities

It would take a lot of money to get him here, but Ryan Walters would be a grand slam. Produced terrific defenses at both Missouri and Illinois. He’s in his first year at Washington and his them in the top 20. He was bad as HC at Purdue, but he’s a hell of a defensive coordinator.
Not a bad choice

1. Banks
2. The players
3. Heupel

That’s the order of blame.
1. Players
Idc what the coaches do. I cant believe they let little brother vandy walk into their building who had a playoff berth on the line and got ran out of their own stadium. Call whatever plays they want, one team wanted it the other didnt.

V scores tie TD before half. Get the ball after half. 12 second and 2 time outs remain. And you take a knee. And he’s done this and the like many times. This equals hot seat for firing on its own.

And who recruited those players that don’t give effort? Who continues to play those same players who don’t give effort?
Most of these recruits that Heupel recruited had many other big tike programs on their short list. Even some of the young guys don’t have the effort needed. These players are simply not making the plays necessary. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.
